Reviews
Derbyshire Scouts come along and support our site.
It’s sad to see the land adjacent to our scout centre treated in this way by local residents. Come to our working weekend to improve our site and help the local community feel proud of where they live.
Please spare us a few hours and camp for free
We’re looking forward to welcoming more Scout and Explorer groups taking on the ‘chilly challenge’. I think this weekend will prove the bigger challenge if the weather forecast is to be believed!
Some pictures from our visit from the Duke of Devonshire and Mr Hanson, who told the story of our campsite, an idea developed into reality by himself and the late Reg Ross...
Great morning this morning with The Duke of Devonshire KCVO, CBE, DL who visited to officially open the refurbished shower block which his charitable trust part funded. Also Mr Hanson who generously donated money to the external cladding on the main and bedroom blocks.
Well it’s taken some time, what with weather issues, part delays etc, but the new toilets and shower blocks are now finished.
Did you know that in the main hall we have WiFi and internet access. Ideal for team meetings.
