Went for a Sunday roast for my husbands birthday today and we had just the best meal. We both had the beef brisket which was melt in the mouth and I'm not a massive meat lover. My kids are incredibly fussy and the staff went out of there way to make sure they were happy. So friendly and a lovely atmosphere. Such great value for money too. Highly recommend a visit! We can't wait to go back ’┐Į

We spent a lovely lunch time at the Admiral Nelson, on a very hot August Bank Holiday Monday... (yes I know.. they are rare!). Even though it was really busy it didn't take long to be served at the bar for drinks and food and the food was lovely. There was a nice view of the canal and lock and we will definitely be back.

We had a nice beef roast, really enjoyed it!



Very well presented and great taste



All food and trimmings were the same hot temperature



Highly recommended, canŌĆÖt wait to go back

Perfect place to eat drink and relax by the water. Have been twice and both time's food has been fantastic . . Cannot wait to visit again. ’┐Į

Myself and my husband had a stunning meal here for my 35th birthday, the food was beautiful and the service excellent. The portions were great and we felt utterly stuffed and spoilt at the end of our meal xx would definitely recommend this stunning venue for any celebration ’┐Į

My husband and i shared a lovely gammon ham sandwich for lunch served with homemade coleslaw and best chips ever ordered as a side. Great place to sit by canal in the sunshine.

Lovely staff,really friendly...really nice food, dogs allowed in the bar area if needed.we had a lovely lunch and the pub has a lovely atmosphere, we will definitely be back for an evening meal.
