The Anchor Hotel And Bars

Great holiday club family bar and adult bar karaoke every night and live acts at weekend children's entertainment provides great kids entertainment

Me and my girlfriend are currently staying the night at the anchor and are thoroughly enjoying our stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel itself has a wonderful atmosphere. We will stay here again

We only use the bar area very pleasant staff karaoke every night with turns on at weekends always a good night out.

I love this place. Very family orientated with an adult only bar. Entertainment and happy hour daily. I'll be back time and time again

On the whole nice pub. Good food. Drinks aren't cheap but not crazy money. Dog friendly which is always good. Good entertainment and freindly staff So why only 3* I hear you ask? Well they have amazingly comfy looking bench seats, don't be fooled they are terrible absolutely awful to sit at and to get out of. They are also locked in place you can't even buy yourself a little more space that way. Spoilt an otherwise 5* visit.

Food was OK but they run out off the carvery rather quickly

Came in cause we could bring the dogs, so thought it was ideal. Came in looking to have the carvery, an hour after they started serving they had ran out, so we had some awful food which you could tell had been microwaved, and has so much cheese on it it was disgusting!!! One lovely member of the team, a gentleman who cleaned the tables, very polite! As for the rest of the staff they were rude, really had no customer service skills and the chef who we saw going the carvery was rude to most people we saw go up!! Really wouldn't recommend this place and certainly will not be returning, poor food, expansive and a definite lack of customer service skills!!!!!

Entertainment was not to our liking (cheese music and bad karaoke), expensive drinks but good location.
