This Bank holiday Sunday its Music Quiz night only £1 per person to enter 8.30 start, prizes to the winners and proceeds to charity, come and test your music knowledge from across the decades.

This bank Holiday Saturday night at the Anglers join us for the very energetic singer Angie a show not to be missed from 9.00

Back Tonight at The Anglers Pub 5 til 9 proper wood fired pizza, enjoy a takeaway or stop for a drink and enjoy with friends.

This Saturday night at The Anglers Terrific talented singer Steve Dell with his Rock with laughter show, come down wit friends for a great night out.

Its back this Saturday tea time come back to the Anglers after watching the mighty Imps beat Swindon for the chance of winning some free drinks.

This Saturday at the Anglers its Charity Quiz Night 8.30 start only 1 per person to enter with prizes to the winners. Come and test your knowledge in a not to taxing relaxed quiz.

Massive thank you to all who helped out at the Saxilby Bikers Annual Bike Rally although the rain tried to ruin it in true Bristish style they ploughed on and Raised over £700 for Air Ambulance. Thanks to the two bands WFT and Rooster great performances from both hope to have you back, and lastly to all who turned out to watch and dug deep into their pockets. Maybe next year we will have plenty of sun !!

Saxilby U3A enjoying their French afternoon on the Boules court, with French music and buffet. These guys know how to enjoy themselves.

Tonight 5 til 9 proper wood fired pizza eat in or take away on a lovely warm evening

This Saturday 21st evening at The Anglers pub we have a swing band from 8.00 and BBQ from 6.00 all welcome

Vintage Bike Rally raising money for Air Ambulance, Live bands throughout the afternoon, BBQ and refreshments, raffle for Hayley Ride, and World record Monowheel on display.

What a great dog friendly pub, they don`t do food so they said if we got fish & chips from across the road we could sit in the pub to eat them, it was freezing outside. And they had dog biscuits for Molly. Proper local pub with some nice beers.

The Angliers let us host U Drives msm first social BBQ for all the drivers and families. Great atmosphere and thanks for letting us use the car park. We defiantly use again.

The Angler's is what it claims to be. The Locals Local. There is always something going on. The pub is home to two crib teams, pool teams, both ladies and mens dart teams, dominoes team, poker. There's live entertainment most Saturday's and one Tuesday every month there is a singer in the afternoon. There's also a boules court at the back of the pub.

If you are passing through the village, why not stop off and try a drink in Saxilbys best pub. You will always get a very warm reception from Mick Brown, the Angler's landlord.

Really good local pub, very friendly and lots going on, music, quiz nights, poker to mention just a few. Well worth popping in for a drink.

Our local! Apart from the expensive � I would be there every night! I just need Bill & Teds time machine to go back to the 80's and get myself a lung full of that real 80's eau de pub and drink all night for a fiver again.... sorry, rambling now....

Good drinkers pub and a good range of real ale on changing regularly and a good bunch of local people to chat to

First time there was very friendly we could have stayed all afternoon
