Is it just me or is this year just flying by!!! Farmers Market this Saturday 10am - 1pm. Lots of local producers selling their tasty treats. Look forward to seeing you all

Farmer's market is back this Saturday, lots of local produce for you to purchase - might be able to treat your dad to something. Doors open at 10am, don't leave it to long before you pop down as they have been known to sell out very early.

Preparations are under way for festival weekend down at The Artichoke. On Saturday our friendly bar staff will be serving you in fancy dress - it’s all hush hush and I don’t even know the theme!? We have live music between 3pm and 5pm, BBQ and guest beers.

The rain may have dampen your day but we have live music tonight to lift your spirits. Way B.A.K Then will be playing - 50’s, 60’s rock’n’ roll

The ☀️ has arrived and it looks like it’s going to be around for the weekend. Why not pop down to the farmers market and pick yourself up some local produce. They will be cakes, pork pies, sausages and more.

Our kitchen will be closed on Monday and Tuesday evenings until further notice but our friendly bar staff are still ready and raring to serve you your favourite tipple 🤪

The weather forecast for tomorrow is cold but your will get a warm welcome at the Farmers Market. Lots of lovely local produce to treat yourselves too

yesterday with my three sisters and two nieces who were here for Christmas (they live in Spain) we all had a lovely lunch to which we all enjoyed, thank you very much for the great service and Ruth was a star

We were recommended here today as was looking for somewhere dog friendly and we couldn’t be more impressed! Not only did they accommodate us at such short notice but the staff were all extremely friendly and the food was 5*!!! All home made and definitely the best roast iv had in Northampton!!! We will 100% be returning again!!! Thank you!

We absolutely loved this charming country pub. Unassuming from the outside, the owners and staff could not have been more friendly. The food was utterly delicious, literally the best onion rings I have ever had and my husband had the fish and chips two night in a row it was so good. They are so very dog friendly as well with everyone making a fuss of our dog and even giving him a lovely chew. We will definitely be back when we are in the area and would recommend anyone (with or without dog) to try this lovely pub.

I just wanted to let you know that I think you pay a monthly fee for your Epos till. I deal with 80% of Northamptonshire pubs so I thought I better let you know we give free support & have done for 17 years. I just fitted the cardigan with an Epos terminal, new printer, new drawer, back office software link to phone that does the weekly statement of business like 48 Everards sites I deal with and all Mcmanus. I also gave a free wifi beacon for guest wifi that can capture guest info or just push people to facebook. I charged £399 including VAT (£332.50) with no ongoing costs ever. Kit will last over 10 years and more.



Hope you don't have to pay a monthly fee or anything. I removed 32 Epos Now systems last year because of this and they don't even have commercial back office ability. Mine comes with the free phone app for reports ect so you can see anywhere. Just give me a shout on FB and I will sort you out. Have commercial kitchen printers for £50 as well if need. Please ask around I have the best offering especially the wifi system with no ongoing costs and FB Log In.

Great atmosphere , lovely home cooked food , Kit & Yvonne make you feel very welcome . Pub garden wonderful on a summers day / eve and best of all our little Katy ( Maltese dog) is always welcome both inside and out ) . Our favourite local �

A pub that doesn’t have a duke box , serves Pub food at pub food prices and doesn’t try to say it’s a restaurant .

Ran well by a local family , has a Zero drugs policy and upholds it regardless , has the most pleasant staff and lastly but not least , serves fine ales ....
