We stayed here last night for the first time, on arrival staff very friendly and welcoming. Room lovely and clean we used it as a base as already booked a meal elsewhere as it was my husbands birthday but can say the breakfast was lovely plenty of choice. We definitely stay here again.

We had our wedding reception at the Belmont last weekend. From start to finish everything was fantastic. Caroline was so organised and helpful in answering all of my questions before the day. On the day the food was amazing and all of the staff were so friendly and made us feel really welcome. Even at breakfast the next morning the staff were making sure that we had enjoyed our day. Couldn't recommend highly enough and so reasonably priced! Thanks again!

We had our wedding on 22nd April 2017 we had the best day ever me and my bridal party stayed the night before the room was lovely breakfast is really good. The day of the wedding all the staff were very helpful and looked after us really well, the food was absolutely amazing and all our guests were enjoyed the food and the experience we could not fault any of it and would highly recommend this hotel to have your wedding

We got married at the Belmont two weeks ago, and I'm still smiling from the day. Lucy and Caroline organised the day brilliantly from start to finish. We never felt rushed, but we always felt like everything was under control and that we weren't just standing around.

Both ladies were immensely organised, charismatic and personable throughout every meeting, which made us feel so relaxed.



I must also thank the staff on the day. They went above and beyond the call of duty. I have never felt so looked after. Even as we were checking out, we ran into staff who had been working during our wedding. They made a point of checking that we enjoyed our day.. not because they had to, but because they genuinely cared.



The food was absolutely brilliant. We had the soup, beef shin and chocolate tart with mini fish and chips for the evening (served in little cones). I have had so many people comment about the high quality of the food... it really was a talking point. I have never seen so many clear plates at a wedding. I just wish that I wasn't wearing such a restrictive dress, so that I could really enjoy it to its fullest.



I cannot recommend The Belmont enough! They made our wedding the most memorable day. Thank you all so much!

This was the second New Year Eve's we had marked at The Belmont Hotel and, again, it didn't disappoint...lovely food, service, music and the Bagpipes at Midnight were a great touch...we hope to back in 2017!! �

This morning myself and my guide dog attended a business conference at The Belmont Hotel. I have walked past the hotel on a few occasions and always wanted a reason to go inside and have a look around. The conference was held in one of the meeting rooms and it was clear from the start that it was well planned out by the hotel staff. I had a chance to speak with the staff and general manager and all were lovely and more than happy to help. The hotel inside was overall very pleasing to the eye and looked very comfortable and quiet for somewhere to stay or meet and socialise with friends. I think I know where I'll be staying if I ever need a hotel near the city centre!

Stayed one night for work I found the hotel, public areas and room very clean and welcoming. Room was brilliant, liked the decor and homely but modern feel.

Breakfast was good and the staff attentive.

Struggled a bit with signage and finding my way around downstairs but didn’t really get chance to get my bearings.

Defiantly would recommend in future.

Lovely hotel. I was particularly impressed by the staff who were very friendly and well organised. My room was lovely too - bed was comfortable. Would recommend this hotel and would like to stay here again.

I stayed at the Belmont last night. One of my friends had a hen party there. It's the first time I had been to the hotel. I didn't realise how big it was! The staff were all hard working and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food was excellent and the 70/80 disco was brilliant! We all had a fantastic night. Some of us stayed over the night and had the luxury of having a lovely bedroom and beautiful breakfast which went a long way to soak up the alcohol! I shall definitely book again as I now no that there are other themed nights! Thankyou

I had my hen party here on Saturday. If your the type of girl that likes to have fun but also likes your home comforts then I suggest the Belmont. Everything from start to finish was great the rooms, the staff and the food. Thank you so much xx

I don't know where to start.



From the minute I picked up the phone last year to today's check out the service has been above and beyond.



The May room was absolutely perfect (slight issue with wifi) but amazing.



The afternoon was gorgeous. Everyone commented how lovely the sandwiches where and that the selection of cakes was tremendous. You was so accomadating with my mum to with her cream allergies. Thank you.



The set up for evening took a little longer than we expected but we probably noticed this more due to the busy lounge area and the wedding.



The room was set up amazingly and above what we expected.

The evening meal was so tasty please pass on our compliments to the chef. The meats were tremendous.



Maria and Antonio again where the perfect hosts and went above and beyond to accommodate any requests we had. Nothing was any trouble to them and wanted to meet every need.



The rooms were clean, spacious and homely.



Breakfast was very much needed after our thirsty work the night before ha ha and again the selection was great.



I can't thank you enough for making my sister's hen do perfect for our party.



Any opportunity we have to let people know our experience we will.

Had our wedding there and was the best day ever! Caroline an Pierre our wedding planners were fantastic and would recommend them again and again plus the bar staff and catering were fantastic! We had a guest with a nutritional requirement last minute an they dealt with the issue brilliantly an seemlessly! An then things got better we were invited back for our first anniversary! We would not have changed a thing! First class! Get booking! The room was lovely!! Big love to all the staff! You all deserve it! Well done!!

Great hotel . Brilliant service ,, great staff team . Everything you need in your room . Great meals fab restaurant . You need to change your tea pots though ... that's a messy businesses, especially for me the fear factor n spillage just before heading out to my working day ... coffee/ tea stains is a no no !

Excellent hotel. They have really been good to us as we have to suddenly book in due to hospital visiting in the evening after booking out in the morning!! So kind and understanding. See you again in two weeks! If not sooner

Myself and my daughter stayed last night and had a lovely stay. Room was lovely and staff very friendly and helpful. We had dinner in Jamie’s and even tho the menu was quite small, the food was lovely and again bar staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and had a really good choice. Buffet style and all hot from the hot plates. My only criticism would be that the room didn’t have convenient plug sockets available for phones ect. To have it on the bedside table I would of had to unplug the bedside table. Perhaps current sockets behind bedside tables could be upgraded to have usb sockets. If my daughter comes to Leicester uni I’m happy in the knowledge I have a great hotel to come and stay at.

Good hotel! Have stayed at many of Leicesters hotels and this one far and away the nicest of them. Only real complaint is that rooms can be really hot - and some suffer from guest noise (doors/lifts etc.) and street noise (single glazing the issue here). However, don't be afraid to ask for a room change if you're near the kidts or are facing the road, and turn down the rads and open a window as soon as you get into your room. (Internet could be faster too!). With that said though, good food, good service, friendly and efficient staff and comfortable rooms.

Fourth year on the trot we have stayed for valentines. Loved our room could maybe do with a bit of a freshen up, but its an old building and you expect squeaky floorboards. Slightly disappointed with the bar, apparently if there's an event on they don't have the staffing capacity to make cocktails. Slightly bemused as there were staff everywhere which you would expect if there's a full hotel. The menu is slightly different in the restaurant from other years, but the staff went out of their way to accommodate my food allergy. Not sure if it'll be five years next year. But a beautiful hotel in a lovely location.

Enjoyed our afternoon tea, staff very attentive

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and my rating is nothing to do with the actual hotel it's the shambolic way a 1-40 in the morning, fire alarm was dealt with. I say dealt with it was a farce. No co ordination I had my 4 year old grandson in my room fast asleep, no one checked if everyone was out. They let my daughter back in to come see where I and her son was. No one did a head count or checked rooms were clear. The person on duty actually said he couldn't say anything as his ' line manager ' wasn't there. If it had really been a fire then there was potential for loss of life and serious injury. You need to think your evacuation policy and procedure. There wasn't even a cursory acknowledgement next morning.
