Went for breakfast after arriving from Cornwall

At 7.30 am Saturday 24th June 2017

We had a lovely and filling breakfast

Waitresses was very nice and friendly and very busy.

Could hear p people complaining about there breakfast being late.

we were informed it could take half hour as they were very busy as they had 2 girls football teams in the hotel stopping.

We had our cereal and toast and before we new it breakfast was served.

AND very nice it was.

Will definitely be back.

Three course lunch for £10 it was so worth the money. The food was fab, mushrooms were the best I've ever had, burger was tasty and profiteroles were delicious. Good service good food, great location. What's not to like.

Service, quality and location second to none. Booked for a party of 45 for a Army Reunion and the resteraunt bent over backwards to accommodate us at short notice. All meals arrived together and we're cooked to perfection and we're red hot. The staff were brilliant. Big thanks to Andrea for making this such a pleasant experience. We will be back

My friend and I dined at the Boathouse twice during our recent stay at the Premier Inn next door. We were staying in Nottingham to attend the Bruno Mars concert at the Motorpoint Arena, so ideal location. Can't fault the food which was excellent., both for our evening meal and breakfast the next morning. Highly recommend both establishments.

Just stayed overnight at the premier inn castle marina in the family annexe and it was superb!! We had the 2 course meal and breakfast deal and both meals were great . Cooked just right and plenty enough for us !! Thoroughly recommend both both for food and stay as staff couldn’t be more helpful even booking our taxis to the show and after 😀😀

I went here today with my two kids and my mother in law and it was absolutely brilliant, despite my children's pre-nap attitude. The kid meals arrived promptly and was served at a good temperature so that they didn't have to wait ages for everything to cool down. The pricing, portions and overall taste of the food was great. The atmosphere was great too and the whole place was clean and quiet (as it just opened). The main reason this was a 5 star experience was because of the lovely server we had. She was very attentive to my dietary requirements and made sure she checked every ingredient for me to make sure it was suitable for vegans. She spoke to the chef on multiple occasions to double check everything and hardly had to be asked to do anything as she was already sorting out whatever we would of wanted without prompt (re fills, sauces, extra cutlery). She truly made me feel taken care of she wad a true star today.

Huge thank you to Andrea, who always takes our family orders for birthdays and does a fab job ensuring that all meals are ordered and served correctly as these are often wrong at to their restaurants with a table size of 20.

Exceptional service today as always.

Thank you from all of us

Always great food and amazing service. Been coming here for 11 years now and can’t fault the place

We often go to Beefeater because of the quality food and service. I have a dairy allergy and they are really good about it. Also very pleased to see a desert that happened to be dairy free that me and my daughter cd enjoy. Also lovely to see soya milk so that I cd have a hot drink. I would give it a 5 if they changed the children’s sausages they use. They aren’t a great quality.

The sun was welcome & warm so we'd have sat outside any pub tbh. This was the nearest to where we were & was the preferred choice out of the alternatives! Dirty glasses from previous customers remained on our table for about half an hour then begrudgingly removed by a member of staff. Whilst we don't mind piped music to outside area of pubs, this was unnecessarily loud & not particularly of a relaxing genre. Despite all this, we like to go to this pub & normally enjoy whatever reason for the visit.

I have eaten at the Boathouse on numerous occasions. Yesterday we went there for an early Mother's Day meal. The food, drink and service were all good. My 5 year old had activities and crayons to keep her occupied; jr sized cutlery was also offered. Prices are also fair. I are from the new limited edition Best of British menu and the food was lovely, especially the Beef Rib Wellington!!!! Yummm. Will be back soon

User

Nice and tranquil but fish was swimming in grease, put me off a bit but the Pink Gin Trifle was to die for and staff were lovely x

User

Food was expensive for what you got and you should really do a lite bites menu for people who don't eat much and some meal deals would be a good idea food was nice and service was OK but not great you must improve before I come back

User

went for the first time today with my disabled dad as a treat for dinner wasn't happy there was fluff in his food they did offer to change his dinner but seeing it put him off so please look at your food when visiting they gave him his drink for free but he was hungry not thirsty

User

Not impressed at all. Sat down at our table, the waitress asked what drinks we wanted and we said two refills. After a while i asked for my glass to be refilled where i was told my drink wasnt a refill because i had a normal pepsi not a pepsi max, i wasnt aware of this as no one told me! When our starter came the nachos seemed asif they were stale. When my main course arrived it was meant to be a chicken ceasar salad, it had no sauce, the crutons were burnt and the lettuce was yellow. We ordered a side of fries and we had to remind the staff, when they were brought over they were cold. My partners chicken had bits of plastic/hair in it. Told the waitress, she agreed it looked like ‘fluff’ she went and told the chef and then came out and laughed saying it was part of the egg although it clearly wasnt. When we eventually went over to pay the bill, the waitress was rude, had no customer skills and looked asif she didnt even want to be there. The place was practically empty so its not like they were rushed off their feet. The bill come to over £40 for something that wasnt even worth half.

It's such a shame. This could be a great place as your staff are brilliant. However your good food is so over priced for what it is. I'd personally never return. I left hungry and ripped off. I got the crab linguine £15 - nothing special. And it didn't even come with cherry tomatoes as described. Never again.
