To all those visiting the park and cafe the road by the entrance to Birch Grove on New Barns Road is being resurfaced between 10 and 11am this morning, there will be restricted access during this time, apologies for any inconvenience caused, we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Following Ian Oakley's message on Facebook, we are very proud to share that our 'Arnside Beats Cancer' charity evening raised a whopping £3100 which will be split evenly between St John's Hospice and Macmillan Care in memory of Louise Oakley. Thank you to those that attended on the night and everyone that donated. I would like to give recognition in particular to the families that made this event extra special; Ian Oakley & family; Vicki, Becki and Mary Smith; Linda Dunn & ...Family. Well done to those who bid and won 'lots' on the auction - you did yourselves proud! As ever thank you to the team at New Barns Caravan Park and the Bob-in Cafe; all volunteers who gave up their time to help prior to and during the event (you know who you are); and all those that donated the auction & raffle prizes. We would like to notify all our customers that tomorrow we will be doing some road repairs on New Barns Road prior to you entering the single track road coming down to the beach. As part of these repairs we will initially be digging out the road surface before it is re-surfaced on Monday (18th of March 2019) - although this work will be taking place tomorrow the road will still be passable; It will be levelled off so that you can drive over it Saturday and Sunday (when no work will be taking place). Apologies for any inconvenience caused, we look forward to seeing you tomorrow and over the weekend.

We were walking from Arnside to start an organised walk across the bay, we couldn't believe our luck that this lovely cafe was along the route, a smashing location great staff and an enormous pot of tea we usually have to ask for more hot water. We didn't eat here but the food looked great. Nice clean unisex toilet which was more than welcome.

We have just been down for lunch and a play on the adventure play ground. We are so lucky to have this in our village. We have a daughter with allergies and the staff were very helpful about what she could have from the children’s menu and offered her a bespoke meal when we found there wasn’t anything suitable. Our meals were fantastic too. The kids can play in an enclosed safe area with first class climbing frames and swings etc. We had a walk along the beach and watched the bore come in before going back for an ice cream! Top class service, great food and a superb play area.

Walked to the Bob-in cafe today, it was fab. Kids play area is immense.. Sat outside eating lunch, drinking lovely coffee and letting the kids run riot! The staff are very friendly and quick to work! Will definitely be visiting again soon

Visited here on Monday with my Grandson I only live across the water at grange. I will definitely be visiting here lots of times over the next few year's. The food was excellent, the staff very friendly and the cafe very clean and welcoming. The park directly outside is fantastic. Ideal for the little ones to let of steam. And you can have your cafe meal or snack brought to you at an outside park table�

This place is simply wonderful! The food is amazing and the staff are just lovely. Can't recommend it highly enough xxx

Had crispy chicken wraps for lunch & they were delicious friendly staff & a lovely area to sit outside. Got my grandson who's only 2 a smaller ice cream & the young lady kindly didn't charge full price for it add to this my dog was allowed in & that for me is a very pleasant lunchtime will definitely visit again

Great spot, easy access to amazing walks. Only had cake and ice cream but both nice. Meals looked good and scores on doors is good. Would recommend

A great place to take my children in the summer as they have a great outdoor play area which kept them entertained. Food and drinks were enjoyed by all and the staff were warm and friendly
