We have a lovely old lady called Mo that pops in from time to time. She always brings a supply of treats with her to give out to all the staff 😁 This is today's haul 😳👍

User

We couldn't resist ordering these in for today to improve our gin range. All from the @edinburghgin distillery. Rhubarb and ginger, elderflower, raspberry, seaside and navy strength!

User

Yorkshire puddings are out the oven. Come join us for dinner. We'll even wash up after 😉

User

We phoned yesterday to book a table for today, explained there would be three vegans in our party and was assured they would make sure they had enough vegan cheese for us and we wasn’t disappointed, great food, the staff was friendly and provided great service. Excited to see the vegan options doing so well and looking forward to seeing what new ones get added. Will definitely be coming back

User

User

Lovely food. Friendly staff. Fairly good service, just a tiny bit slow but quite busy. No complaints really as we were an hour early and still had our booked table.

Highly recommend this place

User

I love this pub. Their ales are well kept, taste great, and there's always a good, changing selection of guest ales. They also have a good selection of Belgian bottled beers, covering most of the well known ones, as well as a few that you might not see around. Karmeliet Trippel would make a welcome addition to the range though.

The food too is something you should try, though the menu seems a little more limited than it used to be.

My only gripe is that since the end of 2015/beginning of 2016 , the place has turned into a yummy mummies' crèche come NCT group meeting place: buggies and babies, and toddlers with aspirational hipster names. It does put me off going there, particularly early evening.

User

Brilliant pub. Food portions can be a little small, but taste delicious.

Great range of drinks. Excellent staff. Good atmosphere.

User

Been coming here for the last 13 years. Great selection of beer and helpful staff. Watched the England/Belgium match last night; fortunately the beer more than made up for the football.

User

Another excellent Sunday lunch. Very family friendly, great service. See you again soon!

User

Absolutely delicious fish and chips for him and I had sausages and Dauphinoise potatoes , tasted very home made and very tasty , the puddings look very nice too as they left the kitchen and were carried past us , unfortunately we were way to full for pudding . Defiantly recommend and will defiantly go back

User

A top notch local with plenty of ales, decent food and great decor.

User

We were a party of six adults, three kids and a dog. We were well seated, very well looked after by friendly staff, and the food was delicious. I personally recommend the Mac and Cheese. Water was offered for our dog and a couple of treats to keep him happy. It all made for a fun lunch en famille.

User

Came for a family meal, one person received their meal way in advance of everyone else.when the rest arrived one meal was wrong. Chips were cold my Greek salad was pathetic just lettuce leaves hardly any feta or olives. Very disappointed as it looked like such a nice place.
