What a really lovely little place.

Me and my little lad had breakfast here today which was really yummy and the best cuppa tea I've had in ages. My little one finished with a slice of your Victoria sponge which he nearly finished was a huge slice too. Yum yum

Will be returning and recommending to others xx

We've used this cafe for years and despite several owners we've not once experienced rude staff. It's a lovely place with quality food, cakes and scones to die for, and a large pot of tea serving four cups. I remember it long ago as a residential cottage, I walked past it every day to school.

We had sausage mash and peas yesterday off the specials board, lovely tea for two and scones beautifully presented , all very nice and the staff were lovely too.

Visited several times for lunch / coffee but had my first breakfast there this morning......have always loved this place but have to say breakfast excelled itself!! Thank you for consistently good food and service �

This is my second time visiting this little gem of a place. I've found the staff to be really friendly and helpful. The food is presented beautifully and the location by the river is delightful. I couldn't recommend highly enough.

This is a lovely old fashioned tea room that serves the best home made scones i have ever tasted. They also serve all types of coffees, latte's, mocha's etc.

My skinny latte was really lovely.

There isn't much room inside though so you won't always get in, especially if you turn up as a group of 5 or more at the holiday weekend.

Highly recommend this place, wonderful food, drink and friendly service.

Just had breakfast - not greasy at all, crispy bacon and a huge plateful. Best breakfast we've had in town! �

Lovely tearoom friendly staff good menu

We opted for the baked potatoes salad etc it was lovely unfortunately we didn't have time for dessert but what I saw looked lush.......needless to say I will return and try the cheesecake next time!!

Great if you are walking with a dog, somewhere to stop off with outside tables, waitress service and opportunity to have a snack and drink. Doggy gets their own water bowl and biscuits too. Homemade soup and cakes lovely too

Found this little gem of a tea room while wandering around Horncastle. Extremely friendly staff who went above and beyond with the tea for two with thin slices of fruit decorating a selection a custom selection of scones, curd, jam and cream my partner had haphazardly selected . First time trying lemon scones too. Delicious and we will definitely be returning

Fantastic tea room, coffee, cakes amazing, tea served in china cups, lots of added extras, staff were so attentative, skye (dog) was spoiled with biscuits & fresh water nothing was too much bother. And we sat inside.

Cracking afternoon tea, highly recommended. Shall be visiting again very soon👍

Come here regularly especially for the Gluten free options, they do the best cream teas you simply can’t tell they are gluten free and as for the gluten free cheesecakes ‘when available’ are so moreish! My only moan is they don’t often have them available �

At short notice we had to change venues for my sisters Birthday tea.

Barrie shut the tea shop for the afternoon allowed us to have it all to ourselves. We have a very large family and we all shared a fabulous afternoon tea. The food was delicious and we had a fabulous time.

Thank you Barrie for helping us have a memorable afternoon.
