Went Wednesday night, no wait for table, excellent service, lovely patient polite waiter, even though we were never ready to order through nattering too much, really busy no wait for food , very well priced and so delicious ! Definitely be back .

We went as a party of 14 the food came out all together and the staff were very friendly and polite . This was the third time we have been all of us in the snug very private and good for the other customers as we do get a bit noisy will be back again soon hopefully

This was our first but not our last visit to the Bulls Head at ratby . Staff are very friendly and helpful , we got there and hadn't booked a table but wasn't a problem . When the food came it was hot and delicious well done all and thankyou see you again soon

The food was amazing .. although really busy our order came out within half an hour great setting in the decking in the sunshine

Nice selection of beers for a small bar, lively and friendly atmosphere, warming log fire and great food with hearty portions!

I have been here many times, the good Is fantastic, I have never had a bad meal, the service is good and the staff are always very polite and friendly.

We had a lovely meal yesterday with a table next to the log burner which was great, as it was freezing out side .

Have been here before and It was OK .. nice food but slightly expensive .



Went yesterday the food was fantastic and worth every penny ... good value for money ... proper food presented nicely , friendly service with a great atmosphere .

Will definitely go again .

Got to give 5* for this lovely pub. Visited it 3 times so far and I am well impressed with the service I received from the staff and the food is totally amazing. Looking forward to next visit in the new year. Lovely warm place for a drink or a bite to eat

Called in for lunch. Jacket potato. Delicious. A pub that does the simple things really well inspires confidence. Will be back to sample the rest of the extensive menu!

Been 3 lunchtimes now, staff lovely and polite, service perfect, food is great size potions, fresh and enjoyable. Not often would I recommend places but defiantly recommend here.

A group of us came to celebrate my friends 50Th birthday we had a great evening the service was really good. The food was delicious 😋! They accommodated every adjustment we asked for due to dietary needs. And even made my dinner SlimmingWorld friendly!! Highly recommended thanks Jayme and all the staff! X

Went on a Friday Lunchtime. Friendly staff but wait to order was a long one. After ordering service time was acceptable but whilst waiting an elderly couple were told it would be an hour and a half wait for food. They left. The food itself was very good, no complaints there.

Very nice decor and seating arrangements restaurant set out well

We had the Sunday lunch wifey went for the beef

I followed with the welsh lamb plenty of it if your meat eaters but there are vegan options

And quite large amounts largest roasties I've seen

Our only disappointment losing the 5stars was due to the rustic bread starter with balsamic vinegar and olive oil and was mixed together with great flood of oil on top and balsamic vinegar on the bottom which was a let down and thought they'd be separated but the bread was piping red hot as just come out the oven

Damn shame really this did let it down for me as also the desserts were also excellent

The bull overall excellent but at bit more attention to detail is required to achieve 5 star � ratings

Sorry but still enjoyed it nevertheless �������� even though we mentioned it to our server there was no discount or free drink awarded to us

Great jacket potatoes! Staff friendly. Only tiny issue was the difference in portion sizes. Two had the same meal, yet the filling sizes were noticeably different. Other than that great little pub, would definitely recommend.

We've been a couple of times now and never had a problem. Food has always been lovely. But we went last night for a 94th birthday meal and they hadn't got two of the meals we ordered and one of the puddings. I ordered the sirloin which they hadn't got but they offered me an alternative of a porterhouse which was bigger, for the same price. It was lovely but I ordered sirloin as I don't like fat and have to pick at my meat. It had quite a bit of fat on and a big bone. So it was nice once I'd stripped it. But I just think that for a Saturday night, when you know it's going to be busy, running out of things isn't good. There was a longish wait too for food even though we felt rushed to go to our table.

Nice food, but a bit overpriced. Large portions though. Staff not that friendly. Male toilet was out of order and we could smell it from our table.

The game was fun but at 8.30 we were then told our food wouldn't be ready until 9.30/9.45 even though we had booked in from 7pm! We certainly won't be going there again and I won't be recommending this place to anyone!
