What a fantastic place! Booked for my birthday in the garden restaurant. What a beautiful room! The food was incredible and lovely cocktails. Lovely touch with balloons and free birthday dessert board! The staff were also very friendly . Will definitely be coming back again.

We went to Repton to celebrate an anniversary and a graduation we had a fantastic time, one of our kuds ordered macoroni cheese but when he got it, we realised it had been seasoned and he didnt like it, only being 5 yrs old and being tired he said he couldn't eat it . But this was no problem they exchanged it for fish and chips which put a smile back on his face. Thsnkyou for really looking after us the meal was beautiful and the staff brilliant xxx

Very very impressed by my visit to this venue. Met 2 of my friends there for lunch - it was their suggestion to meet there as they have eaten there before.

It was a delightful experience. I loved the choices on such an extensive menu. My choice of chicken stick was amazing both in presentation and taste. The deserts are just unbelievable, wow, how wonderful. Will definitely go there again and take others with me.

Highly highly recommend anyone to try this place. I can guarantee you won’t be dissapointed!!

This was my first visit following a very strong recommendation, and what can I say... From the moment I entered, this venue is astonishing. From the warm sincerity of our greeting, to the best customer service I have EVER received - the venue, concept, menu & service were all nothing short of phenomenal. We finished our wine in the garden after the meal, and then moved into the bar for another drink. The team were efficient, and worked together well. Fully recommend to anyone. I cannot wait to return! Very well done, and thank you, to everyone!! �����

The garden room is fabulous , service was friendly and helpful and the food was perfection would highly recommend, really enjoyed my birthday treat from my son and his partner x

People who give this place less than 5 stars are crazy! Every time we have been here the service is amazing, the food is amazing and the drinks have been amazing. Also great atmosphere and staff are friendly and accomodating! We have visited numerous times and every time it has been outstanding! We went on Saturday (24th March) it was for my husbands birthday, balloons on the table and lovely happy birthday board presented with the famous gelato and strawberry sauce. I love this place so much I have recommended this place to a lot of my friends who have all now been and loved it! The Bulls head Repton is the place to go for quirky, delicious, top quality food and drinks! Spot on 👍🏻5️⃣⭐️

Me and my husband made a last min booking today ... got a nice spot in the garden room, lovely food & drinks! I would like to say the girl Emily who served us was lovely, spot on she never missed a thing and made us feel nothing would be to much trouble.She was very polite & attentive. Last week, we visited the Bull's Head in Repton as we were entertaining two special guests from Japan.



The pub was fairly quiet upon entering so there were plenty of tables to choose from.



Great menu choice with the majority of the party having pizza. The size of pizzas were huge but you could take the leftovers home with you. One of the party had steak which was cooked to perfection!! So top marks to all chefs involved.



Pudding choices were excellent too! It's a good job we didn't all order one as staff had got wind that it had been my daughter's 5th birthday - so they came out with a chocolate ice cream on a board with 'happy birthday' written on it! As she had already ordered ice cream she had help with eating it - so thanks BH for that special little touch.



We left for the evening gathering what we thought were all our belongings and upon getting home we realised that a cuddly toy given to us by our lovely guests had not returned with us. Our daughter who was tired and wanting bed was getting upset! A call was made to the BH and we explained the situation to a gentleman who says he would call us back.



Jodie, texts me (as can't get through due to signal) with picture of a cuddly toy which has been found - thankfully it's my daughter's.



Item collected and returned to one little owner that evening - and Jodie, bless her followed up with us to check our little Miss Rosie was happy again!



So we are eternally grateful to the BH for providing a super-duper setting, excellent food and marvellous after care!! Thank you!!!!!

Great pub, great menu, lovely staff and fantastic value. My only grumble was that my friend and I ordered and paid separately at the same table, but at the same time, yet our food came out separately, hers arrived almost ten minutes after mine. The staff were apologetic of this. Really enjoyed my beef stroganoff, it was delicious. Thank you �

Great place . Nice staff and the food well ! It was fantastic my partner loved the fillet yakatori Well worth an hour drive . We will be back to sample more food drink .

From start to finish, perfect. Excellent food, drinks, staff really friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend and will be re visiting soon.

Cannot fault this place - Just took my mum with me for her birthday. The food is absolutely fantastic and the waitress who looked after us was so attentive and had a good laugh and a joke with us (Claudia I believe her name was). The little touches of the bread before starters, the sorbet before mains and the happy birthday ice cream just made it perfect for mum’s birthday. It is safe to say we’d happily return.

Six of us went last night for my daughter's birthday. We were in the Garden Room which was lovely. Three of us had steaks and three had pizzas. Meals arrived at different times as cooked in different kitchens but the waitress did tell us this. The pizzas were massive so a lot was left. One didn't enjoy theirs (ham and mushrooms)and said they wouldn't have it again. I had a fillet steak which was good but I've had better. My son-in-law had a sirloin and said it was the best he'd ever had. My husband had a rib eye which he wanted rare and it came with no blood in it and he said it was more like rump. He left most of it and ate some of mine. The bill was £162 and four of us are non drinkers (2 children, 2 adults) and the other two had a couple of pints each so we won't be returning regular at this price. On the plus side the Gelatos were delicious and the waitress was lovely.

I was excited about coming to this restaurant as had so many positive and highly recommended reviews from friends. I booked plenty of time in advance - almost a week! Letting them know that it was a birthday celebration.

The staff were efficient and extremely friendly and amazing, the food was divine - apart from the steak on the starter - slightly over done, however our mains steak cooked perfectly to our liking and plenty of it. The Amaretto gelato (we could only manage a scoop between 2 of us) was like heaven in a dish and so glad that we were able to find room for it 😊

However just a couple of points - at no point did anyone acknowledge that it was a birthday celebration which was noted on the booking - I don’t know if this was because there was only 2 of us? Also the waiter - brilliant as he was - didn’t remind us of the app and what we needed to do. I had downloaded the app at the start of the meal but forgot all about it until I got home! And I had left the receipt on the table at the restaurant... 😐

All in all a nice evening and will be looking forward to another visit and maybe to one of your sister pubs too

Great food, great staff. We went on Mothers day in the evening and it was still mega busy. I take my hat off to the serving staff they stood up well. Starters were great as was dessert. If I'm being critical I would have liked thicker gravy and more of it with my roast. Perhaps a little jug on the side would have been a nice touch. Overall really good though. Would certainly go back!

Good food, and drink choices, but unfortunately the Bulls Head cannot control parents who believe that the outside garden is a playground and let their kids run round at will. Perfect example yesterday-outside was busy, nice area to spend a few hours, however there was a dad more interested in standing drinking red wine and looking at the menu rather than controlling his 2 boys who were running round playing tag & hide and seek-the token comment of don't do that was totally ignored. Then grandmother (I assume due to her age) openly encourages and partakes of hide and seek. There's a play area about 200yds down the road go there and play!! Good old dad could only get the boys to return to the tables when bribing with ice cream-great messages to give out. A pub is for adults and well controlled families- it is not a playground-if you can't control them, go and play on the swings down the road

Have been twice before and had a really good meal. However went again last night and disappointed is an understatement. Stilton sauce that was like milk and my duchesse potatoes were so salty they were inedible. The manager apparently tried them herself and agreed they were inedible. Waiter was very helpful but I’m so very disappointed. It has spoiled what has been one of my favourite restaurants. Doubt we will be going again now

The staff were efficient and extremely friendly and amazing, the food was divine - apart from the steak on the starter - slightly over done, however our mains steak cooked perfectly to our liking and plenty of it. The Amaretto gelato (we could only manage a scoop between 2 of us) was like heaven in a dish and so glad that we were able to find room for it 😊

However just a couple of points - at no point did anyone acknowledge that it was a birthday celebration which was noted on the booking - I don’t know if this was because there was only 2 of us? Also the waiter - brilliant as he was - didn’t remind us of the app and what we needed to do. I had downloaded the app at the start of the meal but forgot all about it until I got home! And I had left the receipt on the table at the restaurant... 😐

All in all a nice evening and will be looking forward to another visit and maybe to one of your sister pubs too

Great food, great staff. We went on Mothers day in the evening and it was still mega busy. I take my hat off to the serving staff they stood up well. Starters were great as was dessert. If I'm being critical I would have liked thicker gravy and more of it with my roast. Perhaps a little jug on the side would have been a nice touch. Overall really good though. Would certainly go back!

Good food, and drink choices, but unfortunately the Bulls Head cannot control parents who believe that the outside garden is a playground and let their kids run round at will. Perfect example yesterday-outside was busy, nice area to spend a few hours, however there was a dad more interested in standing drinking red wine and looking at the menu rather than controlling his 2 boys who were running round playing tag & hide and seek-the token comment of don't do that was totally ignored. Then grandmother (I assume due to her age) openly encourages and partakes of hide and seek. There's a play area about 200yds down the road go there and play!! Good old dad could only get the boys to return to the tables when bribing with ice cream-great messages to give out. A pub is for adults and well controlled families- it is not a playground-if you can't control them, go and play on the swings down the road

Have been twice before and had a really good meal. However went again last night and disappointed is an understatement. Stilton sauce that was like milk and my duchesse potatoes were so salty they were inedible. The manager apparently tried them herself and agreed they were inedible. Waiter was very helpful but I’m so very disappointed. It has spoiled what has been one of my favourite restaurants. Doubt we will be going again now
