Went here yesterday for my birthday, Meal was fabulous! Staff were lovely! We felt not rushed which was nice as quite a few places we have been to you’ve been rushed out the door!

Meal and drinks was reasonably priced!

Will defiantly be going back, thanks for making my birthday really enjoyable!

They even went to the effort to bring my pudding out with a candle in it �

We came to Butchers Bar on Friday night and wanted to leave a review on how good the service was. We were served by the assistant manager who was so lovely and knowledgeable of the drinks on offer. We mostly drank gin and she made the perfect recommendations for what we wanted. We’ll definitely be back and hopefully for dinner and gin next time. Thank you for a lovely evening �

My partner took me here for my Birthday last nights it was really lovely. We shared a steak platter and it was all cooked beautifully, lovely side dishes and great to see staff who have great manners and really knew their stuff. We can’t wait to go again, we hear the Sunday lunch is fantastic too!

My girlfriend and I ate here for our anniversary last night, and the food and drink was awesome! Amazing creativity and innovation behind the bar, left you longing for half the menu - and that was just drinks. The food is top notch, don’t care what anybody else has to say, these guys just know their way around a good cut of meat! From there it’s down to you to choose from some pretty lush sauces, sides and styles; but for us it was pretty close to perfection. Pure quality - if you are in Long Eaton, even for a night like us; there is no other place to eat!

My favourite place to eat. Great atmosphere, amazing service; and the food has always been incredible, especially for the price!

Lovely meal out for Valentines Day. It was great not to be squeezed in like sardines or have an overpriced set menu. Food was amazing & portion size was just right. Service was prompt & very friendly. All in all great value for money....we will definately be back.

Great evening, had heard good things and was not disappointed. Shared the steak platter , loved the mac and cheese side. All delicious. Fillet was delicious too. Portions good. Service friendly. Definitely recommended.

Our waiter, I think his name was Nathan � was super friendly and catered to our every need! We were waiting a while in starters and mains, but he chased them up without bothering us!



The bar staff are so well mannered. The whole team had a smile on their face and nothing was to much trouble!

Absolute hidden gem. The food was superb. Definitely would go again...... Need to taste everything on the menu ��

Lovely place with a great atmosphere. The only issue that we experienced was a very long wait for our starter (35 minutes). I'm unsure whether this was due to staffing issues as there was only one waitress (lovely and friendly) to cover the whole resturaunt. My vegetarian meal was superb, although I think on a Sunday lunch it would be nice to have another option other than pasta. Overall though, great place and great food. Will be returning 🐷

Food was lovely but took a good while to come we saw others get their mains before us We had ordered before them but we were a table of 5 so maybe took longer .Otherwise our group had been before for Sunday lunch and thought overall Sunday lunch was excellent

We went for a meal last night.. Saturday 21st July. The food and service was fantastic. However this was slightly spoilt by the extremely loud music coming from upstairs. At times during our meal we found that we were having to shout to each other to have a conversation. We were given a discount....however even though we had a lovely meal we would think twice about eating here on a Saturday night.
