Thanks for a gorgeous lunch of raclette and a lovely evening starter of crackers with the amazingly creamy Stratford blue. Highly recommended ’┐Į

Super 5 star. I ordered a Norwegian cheese called Gjetost on Tuesday morning and it has arrived as discussed in impeccable order.

This is a small prepacked cheese very popular in Norway but almost unheard of in the UK. So I almost expected them to be placed in a regular envelope and sent by the post.

Oh no this was wrapped with care and delivered with an ice pack and a super strong box.

All in all Lucy the lady at the end of the phone was super and the service was amazing.

Highly recommended.

Such good food and dessert! If you love cheese, you have to stop here!! The staff is also very friendly and they have a nice selection of cheese and related items for sale even if you don't sit & eat. But there is very limitted seating, you're lucky to get a table especially if it's busy, so maybe go during an off time since there are no reservations!

Service was excellent, Proprietor couldn't be more attentive and knowledgeable about cheese. Realise im starting to sound a bit like Wallace and Grommit. For all you cheese lovers out there, that happen to be in Lincoln, give it a try.

Picked up a box of cheese (lincolnshire box) for a christmas present, I am very impressed, it looks very stylish in sophisticated wrap, with an information sheet inside detailing the cheese selection. I am very pleased with my purchase and I will be returning next week to buy myself a christmas gift!!! I may need to try the food in the cafe too! Thank you, from a Very satisfied cheese lover x

My wife took me here for a birthday lunch as I love cheese!! What a great little deli beautiful decore showing off the cheeses on offer. Coupled with a lovely small beer selection this was a fantastic treat. Walked out with a bag full of cheese too as they were that good! Thanks to all the staff, great job!

Lovely interior, friendly staff, amazing cheese!! We came for lunch and werenŌĆÖt disappointed - I had a five cheese cheeseboard and they were all to die for, with tasty bread, chutney and crackers too. Wish we lived closer so we could come back again soon! ’┐Į’┐Į

I had the cheese souffl├® it was delicious so tasty and the sour dough and salad accompanied it well.

Came for lunch yesterday with our friends visiting from Manchester....what a gem of a place. We sampled the raclette, the reabit, baked Camembert, a cheese and meat board and of course the pork pie with the melted Stilton. Two lovely glasses of port and excellent service. Also purchased some delicious cheese treats to take home. We will definitely return

Been to Lincoln lots of time and never stumbled across the cheese society and IŌĆÖm glad we did. Very helpful very friendly and the place smelt lovely, we bought three cheeses after try them on recommendation and we have decided on a cheese board for dinner what a great choice we have. We will most certainly be back to eat here and we hope to do business with you again soon.

Another great lunch and catch up with the 2nd family, never a bad meal and always cheese samples ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į

After finding this little gem in Lincoln 18 months ago on our last visit it was closed on a Sunday. Looking through the window I knew I had to return. Myself and my husband finally got to experience this fantastic family run business last Saturday. Although busy and an hour from closing we had to wait for a table to be free. It was well worth our wait! All the staff were so attentive and we didnŌĆÖt feel rushed at all. There were little nibbles to indulge us whilst we waited and so many cheeses to tempt us. Once seated Lucy and the other staff could not have been more helpful and lovely. We ordered the cheese and meat board and they took the time to ask about our tastes and matched the cheese on the board to us. Service and cleanliness second to none and a fabulous recommendation for a gin bar from Lucy. Thank you so much Cheese Society. We will be back!!

After buying from the shop for years I collected my first online order today which was ready & waiting. Fantastic service & excellent cheeses as ever. Tasting notes a bonus, I donŌĆÖt have to remember, or make things up now, just hand the notes round.
