We are now taking deposits for the beer bus to Nottingham Christmas Market. £5 per person. If the bus gets filled then there will be no additional cost. We anticipate the maximum cost to be £8 if the bus doesn't entirely fill. Sat 24th November. Departing Somercotes at noon and departing Nottingham at 5pm.

Went for sunday lunch again yesterday with the mr and our 4 kids,we all fully enjoyed our roast beef and turkey roast with all the trimmings,we then all also enjoyed a scrummy pud to finish off our meal..highly recommend,lovely food served by friendly n welcomin faces �

Went for Sunday dinner with friends and everyone loved it was beautiful food definitely worth the pennies will try pudding next time too �

Not been in before, (having walked past here many times while out walking the dog), we saw an absolute bargain of a Monday evening meal deal on the board, so, after finding out the place was under new management we came in to try it. Absolutely brilliant, very friendly, fast, attentive service, a generous portion of good quality home cooked food (not microwaved crap like a lots of other pubs!) will definitely come back and recommend to others, thanks, we'll see you again sometime soon :)
