A little garden update for you; we’ve been working hard with groundsman Robin to get the garden ready for summer ☀️ What do you think? Lots of tidying and pruning so far! Looking forward to the benches having a refresh and repaint next week! 🎨

⭐️ Under New Management ⭐️
Hi everyone, we’d like to introduce ourselves as the new tenants of The Dove. You may well have already seen myself (Alex) and my partner Rhe around the site, but we’d like to take this opportunity to say hello! I have been in the industry for 15 years as a chef and manager and Rhe’s also had great experience working within pubs. Although now working full time in the NHS, she helps when she can, particularly with social media…thank her for the deli...cious pictures you’ll soon see!
It looks as though we won’t be allowed to open for at least a little while but rest assured, we’re taking the time to perfect both front and back of house, giving The Dove some well deserved love. Keep an eye out for updates of the pub, inside and out, and we look forward to meeting you all in person soon.

Following the Prime ministers announcement All Pubs, Bars, cafe's and Restaurants are to close today as soon as possible. The Dove will closed tonight until further notice. We wish all of our customers the best possible outcome and health during these Difficult times. Good luck and we will see you all when this has blown over. From all the team at the Dove.

Dear all, Considering the growing worldwide spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Dove has introduced significant measures to protect all customers & employees from possible contagion.
• The habit to use Disposable latex gloves and face masks in our kitchen/food prep. • Washing hand thoroughly for at least 20 seconds frequently and sanitise all surfaces.... • Use hand sanitiser (although this is proving difficult to buy now due to shortage) for all the people that come in to the premises. • Keep safe distance of 1mt. • Immediately notify doctor if there are any signs of the virus and stay at home, ie coughing, sneezing, breathing difficulties. • Reduce time out to minimum, ie work or grocery shopping. • All employees are restricted from travelling during this period.
We continuously keep in contact with local authorities in order to keep updated with new guidance about the virus and prevention.
Finally, one very popular question: Can coronavirus be spread through food?
