Well, my wife and I visited here tonight on recommendation for our 30 anniversary & “date night” & I have to say we weren’t disappointed. The food was great, service excellent & the whole place had a cracking atmosphere. We will be back - a lot .

We went with some friends for Sunday lunch ...it was very quiet when we got there and was shown to our table straight away.. we ordered Sunday lunch x3 and chicken breast in a sauce...All dishes were amazing so tasty as for desserts we had chocolate orange Sunday it was so yummy we will definitely be going back....

We went as a family group on a Saturday night. Service and food excellent.

Very friendly and welcoming, varied menu with lots of local touches and ingedients.Delicious.

Will definately return.

We stayed in the Sherwood suite..what a fantastic suite! Its very spacious and has all amenities needed. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was amazing! We will definately be back � x

This B and B is the best I have ever stayed in. The room was beautifully furnished. Great shower. There was a mini fridge with a pint of milk, yoghurt and cheeses, orange juice and water. There was a fruit bowl and bread to toast. A selection of cereals for breakfast was also available. There was absolutely nothing that I could complain about. Its a shame other B and Bs are not so good. Highly recommended.

Thank you for another excellent meal tonight. We've never had a bad meal here. The Banana Eton Mess was to die for - please keep this on the menu forever! lol :-)

Never disappointed. Service excellent, lovely menu. I took a friend who, as a vegetarian had a limited choice but loved her Risotto and was impressed by the presentation. My beef stew was also pretty, extremely tender with a rich and tasty gravy. Desserts - wow. Coffee was it's usual rich gorgeousness. Thanks again Dovecote Team.

Lovely pub in country setting. Beautiful food well presented. Friendly helpful staff.

Lovely property and the food is excellent. I always trust that my celiac disease dietary needs are met and this does not restrict my enjoyment of most of the choices offers on the menu . I have used the BandB twice and it is a joyful experience frankly. On Saturday this week me and a number of people ride to the pub on our horses and met friends there, the food provided for us was lovely and we were looked after very well. Highly recommend The Dovecote at Laxton. 😘😘👏🏻👏🏻🤗😁

Lovely 21st Birthday Dinner for my daughter back in June. We had a room to ourselves plus the access to the terrace and garden. The food and service, as ever, was wonderful. Thank you Linda and Team xxxx

I took my new fiancé to the Dovecote for a surprise meal and it was fabulous. They had decorated the table with little sparkles and flowers as we had discussed and she was blown away. The staff did everything they could to make our meal special. Thank you so much ����

Gorgeous food and great service. A member of our party was vegan and we were very impressed with the choices for her. Can’t wait to come back for some more of that cheese and onion pie!!

Genuinely the best meal I've had for a long, long time. Front of house staff were extremely inviting always polite, friendly and helpful. Chef catered to our picky needs and cooked a superb meal. The views are stunning, even the temperature was just so.

Another beautifully presented and delicious meal ..you never disappoint. The young men serving us were helpful and a delight to chat with. Russell especially made us welcome and went above and beyond to make our meal enjoyable. Attentive and super efficient. We will be back and will recommend everyone to also come and taste your yummy delights.
