What an amazing place - amazing setting, beautiful food and the friendliest staff - thank you so much for a lovely rare child free evening! Compliments to the chef �

Went for a pub lunch today with friends & unfortunately wasn’t as good as our last meal there in May. Having mentioned on several occasions I’m a vegan and with little choice i had the 3 bean burger and requested without cheese - but the dish came with cheese, so had to return and wait for a new meal. With little apology, it was a disappointment.



Following this review - the Manager called and invited my husband and I to try their new vegan menu.

This was a great delight - all dishes went down extremely well and my husband, whom is not vegan thoroughly enjoyed the dishes.



The Duke has done a grand job, so much so, we will be returning very soon with family in tow. Thank you so much, I now have a place to eat and feel assured my vegan diet is met.

As promised I will be putting a recommendation on Viva FB too.

We had our wedding reception at The Duke yesterday. It was the best day! The team went out of their way to make our day special the whole way from planning to the day. Roger was amazing in the final run up and looking after us all yesterday :) We will be back for many meals and nights with you!
