The Gedling Herbalist Description
Anke is a fully qualified Western Medical Herbalist practising in Nottingham. She offers personal herbal consultations as well as herb walks and workshops. Herbal medicine is the use of plants to treat illness and to support health. It provides a natural, more gentle treatment with generally fewer side effects than orthodox medicine, which makes it particularly suitable for chronic conditions.
Anke trained at the University of East London and graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in Herbal Medicine. She believes in integrative healthcare as a way of achieving the best possible outcome for the patient. She aims to find health solutions tailored to the individual which promote long term health as well as addressing acute problems. She will work towards facilitating patient involvement and self-help to enable the patient manage their own health.

Not sure if it was a good growing season for sweetcorn this year, after seeing a field the other day which had gone over, but if you have any in your garden - make sure to collect the corn silk!
