We came in Friday night. Fantastic service. Made us feel so welcome and even got a tele outside so we could watch our team! � food was delicious however took 50 mins to get it. Will definitely be back when we come up to stop in the area.

We booked the new Gazebo for my wife’s birthday on Saturday. Paul , Derren & all the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Food , drink & service was excellent.

Treated my girlfriend to dinner, and it was delicious. I had the beef burger with chips and coleslaw, which was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing, and my girlfriend had the hot chicken wrap with bbq sauce, with chips and coleslaw, which she thoroughly enjoyed. The desserts were incredible too, the lemon pie is a godsend for anyone who has a sweet tooth for desserts like me, and the brownie was regarded as fantastic. Overall, food was amazing and definitely recommend others to check out The Greyhound Inn if youre looking for fresh homemade food cooked perfectly!

Last night I had the salmon and prawn skewers with pitta and salad off the bar menu and it was so yummy! Lots of salmon pieces and plenty of king prawns, 2 pittas with a tomato salsa and a good salad. Would definitely recommend � x

I had venison which was a new dish that was cooked to perfection. Everything on the plate was delicious. I then had the white chocolate Eton mess and once again it was everything you want from a dessert. So glad to have tried some new things and it was the first time at 30 weeks pregnant I have eaten everything on my plate in weeks and weeks! I just couldn't bare to leave anything so delicious. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Had the pizza last night,bacon,Brie and cranberry,it was delicious ,also ordered chips and a sharing Greek salad,very very nice,would highly recommend,great food,great service and lovely to sit outside

Had our works Christmas meal last night absolutely fabulous delicious food everyone agreed thanks! Great cocktails too! Can you tell us how to make the lemon meringue!? ���

Great restaurant, contacted before via Facebook to check dogs were allowed and was swiftly confirmed that they are, also booked a table through Facebook! The staff ware super friendly and the dogs were treated like royalty. Would definitely recommend to anyone in Louth!

Love this place I've never had a bad meal...however I've always had to eat downstairs as there is no disabled access...please please can you get something done it's about time I could eat in your restaurant...thankyou x

Booked 12 of us in for my 40th and the other restaurant guests commented on the fact they knew we were arriving which I found odd then being misinformed regarding menu choices we didn't really get off to a good start but decided to stay .....the whole party had finished their meal before my meal even arrived Louise that served us was rather unhelpful and patronising and was even seen rolling her eyes at me when I complained about the service we had received . Such a shame as the food was nice but your service held no personal touch or care for any of your customers at all which made every one of us reluctant to return !

My friend phoned up to book in for gin night. She was told “You don’t need to book just turn up, it ‘ll be fine”. We arrived just after 8 after a long shift at work to be told “we’ve sold out”. Need less to say we were very disappointed!

We were told by the bar staff you can’t book, it’s first come first served. Very odd as I’ve been before and my nephew has booked and paid in advance.



I think they should rename gin night as it certainly isn’t on offer all night!

Had a meal here for a friends 40th, 13 of us in total. After confusion with the booking over what menu we was offered to what we was told we could have when the booking took place, it was taken up with the waitress.

No effort was made to rectify the issues to accommodate us at all. We stayed for our meal which was ok, with 1 meal (the birthday girls) turning up 15 mins after everyone else.

I generally found the staff we dealt with quite rude she was even witnessed rolling her eyes at us. Poor Service I would not bother going back

Food was good and a desert was ordered. We then sat for 30 minutes waiting for a desert that never came. When asked at the bar where our desert was it turned out the waitress had just given it to a group of lads who hadn't ordered it. Then oh we have none left, the staff then argued amongst themselves who was to blame and tried to give us a refund which was a pound short of what we paid. We were looking forward to going again but not now as we could have been sat for hours if we hadn't of asked because of the stupidity of their staff.

Booked a table for 7.30pm and finally got our mains at 9.30pm. Should have walked out !
