As the last night is looming for us here at the Hawk & Buckle we would like to say goodbye and thank you to our friends and customers on the 22nd October from 6pm, we have a fantastic Foot tapping Irish folk band playing from 6pm onwards. Come and enjoy a great evening.

The Count Down Has Begun To A Great Weekend of Great Beer,s Ciders & of Course Gins.....Live Music from Friday night throughout the weekend.....The Hog Roast will be all fired up on Saturday & Sunday and ready to enjoy from 12pm...Birds of Prey will be in the Garden on both Saturday & Sunday.. Sunday will see the fantastic Shire Horses from the National Brewery Centre here from 1pm....

Welcoming, helpful, easy going, top top class beer and lovely food. That's 4 stars in itself - the fact that they let us bring our dogs in and kids are always made to feel welcome means it's a top class 5 star destination.

We really enjoyed playing music here, the cider and beer was amazing. It is a lovely place to relax in, we would definitely have a drink there again. The managers are friendly and very welcoming.

We held our Badminton club social there last night and we were looked after so well. The food was brilliant and we were looked after to perfection by the team. Thank you guys

We have just moved to Etwall and my sister already lives here and she recommended the Pie Night on Thursday. We were not disappointed and have been several times. The starters are first rate and excellent value - particularly worth having before the meal if you are hungry. The selection of pies and the choice of things to go with them is excellent. The atmosphere is warm and very friendly and the food is first rate and wonderful value. I am so glad that I now live in a village with such a nice pub on my doorstep

Over the past 25 years I have often visited the Hawk when I have visited Derbyshire from London. It has always had a traditìonal British pub feel but now has the addition of brilliant food which was delicious and reasonably priced . Gourmet Burger due on my next trip �

Marstons' house - always choice of 2 or 3 ales & decent pub food - look out for food offers e.g. Free pint with curry on Tuesday evenings.

Lovely game pie - good atmosphere too. Quick and friendly service.

I used to be a regular at the Hawk, but stopped going when it went downhill. So glad that Tom and Dale have now taken over, the selection of ale is excellent and the food is really good too. I'd certainly recomnend a visit, its once again an excellent proper pub.

Had a walk to Etwall & stopped off at the Hawk & Buckle for lunch.. The pub is clean, modern & the staff friendly. Sunday lunch was excellent all the food was steaming hot & tasty the vegetables, turkey & trimmings were excellent. The chocolate fudge cake was warm with lots of chocolate sauce & a Good scoop of ice cream! Good price for 2 or 3 courses. Lots of different lagers on all at a good price. Will definently be calling again! �

Had Sunday lunch here yesterday, we arrived after they finished their serving time but they still accommodated us, staff were great and the Sunday lunch was phenomenal.

Great place to relax with great company and great landlords. Get yourself down here! You won't regret it.

Excellent! we were a party of eleven, the friendly staff were quick and efficient to serve us all together. Nice food reasonable price and cracking choice of good ales. Will go back again

Excellent stuff that Etwall finally has a free house dedicated to real cask ales. The ones I've tried in recent weeks have been top drawer. Well done.
