It’s a new year so we’re bringing you a NEW MENU!!
You will still find many of our classic dishes however there is a lot of new exciting ones that will tingle those taste buds.
Our service here at The Joiners shop will now run breakfast 9:30 am until 11:30 am. You can then choose from our delicious lunch menu at 12:00pm until 3:30pm.

*Friday 30th November Reduced Menu*
Tomorrow we have a reduced menu due to part of our team going to the Herriot Food Awards. As you all know we have been entered for Best Breakfast and Best Afternoon Tea so fingers crossed we bring home the plaque for a second year running 🤞 🏆 !!
But of course we are still open, however with a reduced menu for Friday only.

my sister and I treated our mum for afternoon tea and we could not fault it! the selection of sandwiches and cakes were great and the cheese scones were to die for! such a great coffee shop in beautiful surroundings, we’ll be back for breakfast soon : ) x
Went today for afternoon tea to celebrate 2 of our groups birthdays and we were well impressed with not only the price but the quality foods on offer. Great value for money and lovely polite friendly staff. Will definitely be back.
We love this place.amazing Rounton coffee from their own roaster nearby. We had a Father’s Day homemade afternoon tea which was delicious. Service is always excellent and it’s dog friendly too. First class
We had afternoon tea here today. My niece who was with us said it was the best afternoon tea she’s ever had. And she wasn’t wrong! The food and staff were perfect - simply faultless.
We were made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Such a gorgeous, warm and friendly place.

Visited today with friends for a birthday treat and I have to say this is the best afternoon tea (taste and value) I have had. Staff were so friendly and welcoming too. I will definitely be returning and will be recommending it to others too :) xx
The coffee here was as good as coffee in Melbourne, rare praise. So far the best I have had in the UK
My friend and I booked afternoon tea, I also took along my then 10 week old baby girl. The staff were amazing, so friendly and kindly showed us to our table and offered to stow away the buggy whilst we made our way upstairs.
The afternoon tea looked and tasted fantastic, good value for money. 4 different sandwiches each, scones, cakes, desserts and as much tea as you could drink. Loved the tea leaves and the egg timer to let you know when the tea was ready to drink.
I'll be returning to try lunch soon
In a little very pretty rural location , superb locally roasted coffee. Also offers interesting tasty food , locally sourced. Totally recommend this place, we travelled 40 mins to reach it!!!!! We have been for coffee and cakes but y day had breakfast AWESOME
I took my mum here for an early Mother’s Day treat (Dad came too) the venue is just lovely and the staff were all friendly, polite, funny and more than happy to help.... the afternoon tea was delicious, with lots of choices of sandwiches and cakes, all very yummy!! Love the teapots, endless amounts of tea.. we could have sat there for hours!!! Will definitely be coming back. My Dad had bubble and squeak... he sent his compliments to the chef because it was the best ever!!!!

For all dog 🐶 lovers, on our days off we take our "boys" everywhere and it's fantastic to be able to get a warm welcome with them

First visit but will definitely be back! The eggs florentine were possibly the best I have ever had- my husbands chicken, avocado & bacon sandwich had a whole chicken breast in it! Friendly staff & wonderful surroundings throughly recommended!

Enjoyed a scrummy Sunday breakfast this morning .. So nice to have super healthy choices �� .. alongside treats. LOVED the Turmeric Latte .. staff very friendly and helpful too. Can't wait to return.. W x

Absolutely gorgeous brunch!! I had eggs royale (English muffin with lots of smoked salmon, three poached eggs and hollandaise sauce) it was amazing and I was stuffed! I also had an iced latte which was amazing cause that's the I only like my coffee iced and not many smaller places do that!
We visited yesterday for sunday lunch to celebrate my sons birthday. The food was fantastic, i had the Coronation chicken burger with something i had never heard of Houmi? Cheese fries which were very good. My son and wife had the chicken and avocado sandwich they both said it was very good. The only downside was that from ordering to serving was over 30 mins and there were only 4 other people in at that time. If i can manage to wangle time off my joinery work i am looking forward to trying the afternoon teas. Do joiners get discount �
We went to buy some ground coffee & coffee related gifts for Father's Day but were greeted at the door with "Have you booked " when we said no we were informed it was fully booked in the most abrupt & rude fashion possible.
It was a great little coffee shop initially, but has gone rapidly downhill in recent months with customer care being bottom of the agenda, we've had 3 bad experiences now so won't be returning or recommending.
Bedford St is still excellent, but the staff at Ingleby seem to revel in being rude & unhelpful.
