We used the hotel for a very important meeting for our football club. We enjoyed drinks on the bar of the adjoining pub first before being shown to a delightful, well lit and perfectly sized meeting room ( there were about 28 of us). Following the meeting we were taken to a basement room, close to the bar where we enjoyed a generous and tasty hot buffet.

Throughout the evening the staff were very friendly, efficient and attentive without, in any sense, being overpowering. Well done to all at the Lace Market Hotel, the best venue by far we've ever used for this annual meeting.

We have just come back from staying here. We have had an amazing time. All staff were very helpful and friendly. We had room 10 which was gorgeous. Everything had been well thought of. The bed was super comfortable too. Breakfast was lovely and there was a good selection on the buffet table before having g a good cooked breakfast. We are already thinking when we can come back.

User

The service made the stay. Sarah at the front desk was so helpful and really made the extra effort to insure I got to dinner before the restaurant closed and looked after tiny things which made it all the better. The girls at the restaurant were also so accommodating both nights considering I was eating so late and their last table.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in ❤️

Thank you so much to the hotel. We accidentally booked the hotel for the wrong night through booking dot com and were really worried we would lose our money but they were really helpful at sorting it out for us. We will be coming another time for sure - but I have one very relieved husband now as it almost ruined all our plans. Next time we'll just book direct

Spent the night at The Lace Market Hotel with all my fabulous Hens, staff very friendly and couldn't be more helpful, rooms are very clean, beds are super comfortable, cooked breakfast was perfect and set us up for the day, will definitely be staying there again. Highly recommended *****

My husband and I booked the hotel for my mother and father-in-law's 60th wedding anniversary. With such a large party we had exclusive access to the whole of Merchants Restaurant for 3 hours.

All guests were invited for Champagne afternoon tea and given this was such a special occasion our expectations were high. My husband and I came into the restaurant earlier in the week to confirm all arrangements and the Deputy Manager reassured us that everything was in order.

When we arrived on Saturday the restaurant and tables had all been set out beautifully and we were able to decorate the room with some personalised items.

Guests were seated seated at tables in the Merchants Restaurant and whilst drinking our Champagne we were brought a range of sandwiches (vegetarian and non vegetarian), pastries, macaroons and fruit & plain scones with strawberry conserve and clotted cream.

After the afternoon tea our guests were able to mingle with each other in the attached bar or stay at their tables and chat.

All I can say is we all had a fabulous afternoon and your team did us very proud. The Restaurant Manager and Deputy Manager were on hand throughout the whole afternoon to oversee everything and nothing was too much trouble. Service was exceptional and the food was lovely, we had nothing but compliments from our guests, especially our guests of honour. A big thank you from me and Ian.

Just had a one night stay here. Staff were very friendly, food lovely and location excellent for arena. Walked across the road this morning for a look around the galleries of justice to finish off a really enjoyable stay. Frantic Friday deal is superb. Two course meal and plenty of drinks made for a really pleasant evening. Thanks to all staff for making our stay so pleasurable.

I've performed at The Lace Market Hotel on a number of occasions as a musician and I love this venue. It has the perfect balance of beautiful surroundings with a relaxed atmosphere, just perfect for smaller intimate weddings and birthday parties. The rooms work brilliantly to create atmosphere, between the main restaurant and bar without the issue of either losing a party to the bar or having nowhere to talk. The staff are very attentive, friendly and helpful. My mantra after playing in many of the countries top hotel's across the country and in London is simple . . . Above all else, people make places, and the staff at the Lace Market give 100% of themselves to make their guests stay perfect.

Beautiful boutique hotel in Nottingham's historic lace market. We stayed overnight in a third floor studio suite, which was beautiful! Gorgeous furniture with plently of space to relax, soak in the bath & enjoy. Fabulous views from the many traditional windows with views across Nottingham & a great spot to watch the sunset with a glass of wine on the chaise in the room.

The staff we all warm, friendly & knowledgable on the local area. The hotel has an attached pub The Cock & Hoop which had a great selection of real & craft ales. There was also a stylish cocktail bar & restaurant in the hotel but as we were having a lazy chilled night didn't get chance to eat in the restaurant. The cocktail bar staff knew their stuff & made me a some great drinks!

The room itself was decorated really lovely, the bathroom had his & hers sinks, a roll top bath & Orla Kiely toiletries. Lush!

I decided to have a continental breakfast in the room as it was too lovely to leave for breakfast. The breakfast was delicious, toast still hot & service to the room was fantastic too.

If I had to say something that was bad it was leaving the next day. Loved it so much will be back!

Pleasant little hotel in excellent location for the arena and the shops. Food in the pub was very good, and breakfast excellent. Our room had a nice view over the church opposite but was quite small. Fine for one night but no more. Our main problem was the pillows which were very deep and hard, but we were given two softer ones when we asked, so we slept fine. Staff were very friendly. We would stay again when visiting the arena.

User

I booked the Saint Bar out for a Christening. Despite them being busy with a wedding and what looked like another event, our needs were met the staff attentive and the venue as always (pre and post refurb) was and is excellent. Twenty years I’ve been coming here and watched it turn from an overly stuffy far too ‘above itself’ venue to somewhere which has matured for the market and mostly delivers a great service. Alex Durdle our bartender was awesome. Not only hospitable and personable and great with all the guests I appreciate so much people like this who represent Nottingham’s bar scene so well. Clearly knows his way around a bar, made me a great Gin and an asset to any bar - thank you Alex as it was mostly

You who made our day - cheers

Great little boutique hotel well situated in Nottingham. I've stayed there three times and have always enjoyed it very much, highly recommended.

We booked Afternoon Tea here as been previously before and was amazing! The presentation was amazing, and the sandwiches were delicious. We originally booked for 14:30, but asked if they could accomdate our biking earlier which was accepted. The only thing I would say is that some of the cakes were very dry, and the cream with the jam and scones didn't look like cream!

User

Shower didn’t work & there were chipped wine glasses in the room.
