Did you know that crab is one of the few species that's caught just off the Grimsby coast.
Most of the fish we eat in this country are imported in, and most of the fish caught in this country are shipped out and bought oversea's.
In our pub The Pig and Whistle, Healing Manor we serve seasonal and locally sourced ingredients from the fields and waters around us.

For anyone that know's my cooking style, I very rarely work with spice, as I like the ingredients to shine on their own. Here in Lincolnshire, we're home to some of the most incredible suppliers, growers and producers.
This dish is locally grown asparagus, served with Scaman's Eggs cured and confit egg yolk.

Yorkie Sandwich is a dish after my own heart. Whilst I grew up in Lincolnshire, my Dad was from Yorkshire and this is a dish featuring the one and only Henderson's Relish & Yorkshire Tea.
Shredded short rib is dressed with dehydrated black pudding and caramelised onion and milk purée and served on a Yorkshire Tea-infused sourdough.

In The Barn, we're hosting a black tie 4 course dinner, with live entertainment from tribute act The Freddie & Queen Experience and a disco to follow.

Our Bar menu boasts a delicious beef, sausage, chicken or falafel burger.
