we had our wedding there on the 8th of july and it was so amazing , nothing could have been more perfect, I think every guest commented on the amazing venue and what it offered, the staff at the manners we have to say were not just above and beyond, but so much more, but there commitment and organisation to our wedding was really part of what made it. And we thank them for being the unsung heroes of our day. Xxx

We've had the most amazing day here at the manners arms. Our wedding was really well organised and Emma and her team were just so wonderful kind and helpful and to be honest a bit of a rock when we had hiccups � the venue is beautiful and the food was great.

We want to say thank you to the Manners Arms for our wedding last week. It ticked all the boxes as a venue, friendly staff, great surroundings, excellent menu options, clean and spacious rooms for our guests.



We were in close contact with Emma regarding all the arrangements for the day. She was always quick to reply to any questions, nothing was too much trouble and it made the whole organisation very easy. On the day the venue looked fantastic and Bryony and the team were always on hand to make sure our day was perfect.

We held our wedding reception at The Manners Arms on 24th June and it was a dream! Everything about the day was perfect and the staff were on hand to ensure everything ran smoothly! Emma was a fantastic help leading up to the day and every query I had was answered. The team she has are fantastic and we can't thank them enough for everything they did for us. The marquee was beautiful, the food was lovely and the venue is amazing. Thank you again for everything you did for us - we are so grateful! �����

We held our wedding reception at The Manners Arms and we had a perfect day. The food was wonderful, the decorations were lovely and the hotel rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean. We cannot thank Emma and the staff enough for all of their hard work and help in making our day so special. I'm so glad we chose The Manners Arms as our venue.

We found the staff here to be lovely & friendly. We had Sunday lunch with lamb & nice roast potatoes with Yorkshire pudding. The veg was nice & freshly cooked. And the gravy was also very nice. I would recommend this place & would definitely return 😃

We Had dinner there this evening in the bar, the food was lovely as were the gin cocktails and port and cider .... 😂 open fire was cosy and warm! The staff were helpful and attentive especially the poor soul that had to put up with us ....( Darnley?) .. bless you. You're doing great.

Stayed here last October for our wedding anniversary in Ambassadors wife's room, it was beautiful and so peaceful. We have since been many times for a meal. My brother is over from New Zealand and my sister from Gibraltar so I decided to book a table here for Saturday evening along with my husband and sister's friend. Again we had a lovely meal and they all thought so too. Very welcoming friendly staff. We will definitely be back again soon. Thank you.

On Saturday night I threw my charity ball at The Manners Arms, and throughout the planning process the staff could not have been more enthusiastic or helpful. Emma ensured that the night went ahead and flowed fabulously and the rest of the staff were quite simply incredible. I really could not recommend The Manners Arms enough for the work that they put in making my Ball as unforgettable as I'd only hoped for.

Little gem of a hotel in beautiful surroundings clean rooms, amazing food , great service.

I had Sunday lunch here today but didn't like the vegetarian option, The manager asked me to suggest an alternative and so I would like to say a massive thank you to the chef who despite having a very full restaurant made me a nut roast and vegetarian gravy with great care and attention. If you are vegetarian or vegan and enjoy high-end food; come here. I've never known such excellent personal service before.

I got married at The Manners Arms on Saturday and it was truly the best day of my life. The staff could not have done enough for us throughout the process- they catered for all needs and requirements, all dietary through to organising room dressing, singing waiters and sorting our band. We even had a change of circumstance Friday which the Manners allowed us to use their facilities for all the breidsmaids make up and feeding them all. The day was absolutely perfect and I can honestly say this had a lot to do with the efforts of the Manners Mel, Gareth, Sharon and Karl all worked so hard on the day to make it work so smoothly. A particular thank you to Emma who helped me through all my bridezilla panics, was always there and literally coordinated everything perfectly. Had our wedding here on 8th September. What can I say? It was the best day of our life, the venue was spectacular, the staff especially Emma were wonderful making everything go like clockwork. All our guests said what a beautiful venue it was, how much they enjoyed the wedding and meal. The photographer said she loved the place too.

Would certainly recommend The Manners Arms to anyone looking for a wedding venue. 10/10

Emma and her teams organisation and attention to detail for my wedding was second to none and I felt relaxed and confident that my wedding was left in their very capable hands. Thank you once again, highly recommended as a wedding venue, beautiful venue and although the ceremony room is limited for numbers we had the additional marque to enable us to have all our family and friends there. I also had the BBQ option as our wedding meal which everyone enjoyed and there was loads of food. Rooms are characterful and breakfast was good. Staff can not do enough to help you. Came here with friends for my birthday- we had a fabulous evening! Food was amazing and everyone enjoyed. Service was great and staff were very attentive, going to lots of effort making sure we had a special evening! Would definitely recommend! We had a lovely time- thank you! X

Been meaning to post this since our wonderful wedding blessing here in November. The hotel was the perfect wedding venue and easily accommodated our 150+ guests. Emma, Alan and the team were fantastic in the run up to the day ensuring everything went off without a hitch. The food was exceptional too and the service impeccable. Our room was beautiful, a little quirky with the wonky floors/furniture, but all added to the wonderful experience had. Along with breakfast inc in our 'special rate' we decided to have an evening meal too which was also delicious. We received a warm welcome, all of the staff were wonderful. We have enjoyed the beautiful surrounding countryside all day before returning home to plan the next trip somewhere
