At The Music Locker we love vintage, rare and quality instruments. Whether you’re after a guitar, amp, accessories or drums you’ll find all the names and brands you’d expect – Fender, Gibson, Rickenbacker, Tokai, Marshall, Vox, Hiwatt, Watkins, Simms-Watt, Ludwig and Premier.
All our instruments come to you ready to be played. We clean and service all our instruments and if they need some love and attention, our expert craftspeople restore them to be the very best they can be. We pack and deliver them to you with all the care and consideration these beautiful instruments deserve.
We’re all about the music. Elvis, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana – the second half of the 20th century was a golden age of music. The instruments from this rock n roll era deserve to be played and cherished into the 21st century. We want to keep that history alive and thriving.

Oh, now THIS is a story and a half! This beautiful 1962 Fender Jaguar was one of the first made - with slab board. We purchased off the son of the original owner who purchased it brand new from Mansfield, UK. You can see the guys original band business card too...! When Selmer imported this into the UK, they refinished many straight away, most notably on the Stratocaster, and added their own hard case. This example has everything to back this up - Selmer Case, Original Hang T...ags, Catalogue, and even the original Selmer polish! You really won’t find a cleaner, more original guitar out there! #FenderFriday can’t get any better than this! By far the cleanest Fender amp we’ve ever seen! One of the first Blackface Fender Showman Amps out there with the original box, from the original owner! He bought it brand new from Nottingham in 1964. What’s your thoughts?!

Throwback to one of the nicest vintage Gretsch guitars we’ve had in! This 1959 Gretsch Duo Jet 6128 was a wonderful Guitar. The story lives on in its new musical family abroad!

The Music Locker is everything a shop should be. Martin and Jono are two amazing people with a real heart for people, music and all things vintage.
Not dealt with these guys for a while but will do in the future. Both guitars I bought were exactly as described. Martin a pleasure to talk to. He knows his stuff. Look foreword to doing business in the future. Hoping to get over and try out some of those fantastic old Watkins and Selmer amps
Incredibly helpful when it came to assessing a rare vintage Vox. Found them by chance online, and very glad I did.
Excellent choice of amazing vintage equipment, excellent service and quick delivery
Brilliant guys and cracking equipment. Highly recommended.
Bought a Sound City B 100 from these guys. Had a bit of an issue with the plug. They covered replacement cost of the plug & I couldn't be happier with the purchase.
