great pub has had a bad reputation in the past but now it's back to top form

We went here for an open mic night and we loved it! Fantastic talent, great location , gorgeous Fish and Chips and the landlord even let us nick his parking place so that we could overnight in our campervan!

We travel from Nottingham just for the Sunday lunch here... the pork is awesome � refurb looks good too �

Visited with my sister and had an amazing meal with a great atmosphere. The food was very hot and tasty, a lot better than the usual pubs I go to (worth the travel!). The pub looked brilliant inside and out, plus the owners are so friendly! Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again soon! � would give 10 stars if I could!

Travelled quite a way but was well worth it as Sunday dinner was absolutely gorgeous, highly recommend and the surroundings in the garden are lovely by the Riverside, well done Gary and Cherelle at your new pub x

Just had a steak melt baguette each here at the Navi, absolutely delicious, we'll definitely be eating here again!

Just been for a meal here since it reopened and my god it was wonderful. I had a gammon steak , chips, peas, mushroom, pineapple and fried egg. Everything was cook to perfection. Pat on the back to the chef ��� also squeezed a pudding in waffle and ice cream. So nice. Defo coming back. Love this place my favourite pub �����������

Had a meal at the Navi tonight for the first time since it's been taken over. We wasn't disappointed, my husband enjoyed the pie of the day ( steak and ale) and I had the gammon. Both meals came with homemade chips which were lovely, will definitely be going back again. 😄

First time I've came here since it was under renovation. Pub looks incredible inside and has a good seating area near the canal. Food is really well priced with loads on the menu and tastes amazing.

Just had a gorgeous Sunday dinner at the Navigation. I was a bit disappointed they only serve Sunday dinners and nothing off the usual menu but it tasted amazing. Vast quantities of fresh crispy veg too, would highly recommend for a Sunday dinner.

Lovely pub with a great location by the river but it's under new management, we walked down the canal hoping to have a meal as we have done for many years to be told that they don't serve food anymore , we stated for a drink anyway & fortunately had some cash as we were advised it is now cash only
