Very tasty Sunday roast, waited over 1/2 hour for food but it was well worth the wait. Friendly staff, compliments all round. To top it off bump into Maureen Nailard at the Bar x

Really impressed with the service today, all chefs and staff are brilliant at there job, food was absolutely lovely and freshly prepared and cooked in front of you, it's so reasonable priced for the quality of food and staff, will definitely be back when I visit hove again!

Love the place - friendly staff, modern light and airy feel - big screen up for the footie and best of all; amazing food prepared and cooked right in front of you. Forget silly gastro pubs, this is proper; pizza, burgers, whatever you fancy and good portions at reasonable prices. Plus that, a car park you could land a plane in. (There's a function room with its own bar as well)

I had several people recommend to me the roast dinners here and I didn't think anywhere could do a better roast than my mums but they outdid themselves, it was delicious and brilliant value for money! Will def be coming again, thank you

I can highly recommend the lamb shank and pork belly. Fab food, great atmosphere and wonderful staff!!! We were celebrating an anniversary and as it was a special occasion were given a couple of free bottles of Prosecco. A lovely surprise to finish of the meal.

Hands down the BEST roast in Brighton and Hove! Regularly go for a roast at the neville and never fails to impress- they are even dog friendly!! Prices are very reasonable, food quality is excellent and the service is also excellent. We also ventured down to the neville one Tuesday evening when we had family down, again amazing service, amazing prices and the food was also excellent too! We tried the steak, very good idea of being able to cook it to your liking, chef came over to explain how the self cooking worked. All round an amazing place to eat- would 100% reccomend it!

Had a lovely Sunday Roast ..The presentation of the apple pie was stunning .Will definitely be making this a regular thing ...Just the table wobbly otherwise would have been a full 5 Star .... Changed my mind The wobbly table can be sorted Its the food and actually the friendly service from the staff as well Didn't feel rushed in spite of how busy it got So full 5 star it is ...

Had Mothers Day Sunday Roast here today for 11 people and even though they had a water pipe burst in the early hours they carried on as normal food was superb best gravy I've ever tasted and we eat out a lot service very good and that's with a full pub only thing I noticed was the landlord wasn't there as he had spent the early hours with a mop and bucket pah lightweight but it's ok John ya son is a credit to you and the business great front person see you soon for more excellent food

Great place for celebration meal...large group of 12 people on 12 july 2016 but food very good and all of us were served at same time with no waiting. Kitchen closes at 9 but they were flexible with us arriving just before then and asked only that we emailed our choices a few days beforehand.

Friendly smiling and relaxed staff...they let us bring our own cake, supplied cutlery and napkins and gave us a lighter for the candles! Will definitely come again. Big thanks to the team!

Fantastic staff and venue. Made our wedding day. We held our reception at the Nevill Pub on 15/10/16. We had to arrive earlier than planned due to poor weather limiting the number of photos at the church. But the staff all greeted us and made us all feel at ease. The food was fantastic. We had 130+ attend over all and catered for 80 which was actually spot on. Every staff member helped us make it the perfect day. Many thanks and we will be returning for another party very soon x

I had the chicken fajitas ordered extra chip did not need them but hey I like my food.

Hubby had burger and chips watched them make it from start to finish.

As it is from fresh you expect a good 20 minutes wait took this time to read all the offers and the board to see what I will be ordering next time we go.

Thanks all is a good 30 minuite drive for us (on a good day without traffic) but well worth it and I got meet chase who was happy to get up from his sleep ( probably to see if I had food sorry I didn't) and say hello

Catered for Brighton Ex-Boxers BBQ and buffet yesterday, food was excellent. Jon and his staff worked extremely hard to keep us fed and watered. Thank you for the great job you do in setting up the function room every month and making us feel welcome. A big thank you on behalf of the Brighton Ex-Boxers Association.

Amazing roast dinner! Well worth the money and you get a stacked plate with fresh meat! Well worth a visit! Will be back for more. Best place to eat in Hangleton. Along with lovley service and a happy chef!

I have been here a number of times and the service is always good and the food too, which is good value on the whole for money.

As a regular occurrence of ladies that lunch we stopped at the Nevill, an old stomping ground, and were pleasantly surprised with the new kitchen and work in progress towards a big change than our memories offered!. The Spanish Chef was brilliant, and as neither of us could face the steak offered with the Scallops and Black pudding, he professionally gave us garlic butter Gambas instead, added some delicious fries and a little salad and garlic mayo and we were absolutely delighted. Pity this isn't permanently on the menu, it was the only fish offered and with a Chef like that more fish would be amazing. We'll be back!
