We popped in today after seeing The old bakehouse antique centre on TV. What a fantastic place! So much to see, and the Tardis outside is so accurate, lots to explore!
Cute little tea shop too.
The owner (I think the ladies name was Kim) was so helpful. We loved it, and will be back to buy more!!
Was in this store today to buy some antique goodies very nice place to be if you like antiques..Very friendly people and nice coffee and cake too. Will visit again :-)
Wanted old Baltic amber jewellery! We pay good prices.
The best antique shop for miles Steve and Kim make you feel so welcome pop in and grab a bargain there's some top quality goods on offer and you can also grab some tea and cake a must for any collector or if you just fancy a browse this is the place to go.
Outstanding! This is an Aladdin's cave of huge proportions! Every cabinet, hut and shed is run by a different seller, so the variety of items is incredible. It's such fun to visit for a trip down memory lane, even if the visit is 'just looking' - though it's difficult to come away without buying at least one thing as the prices are so good. It's run by Kim and Steve who are such fun and really helpful. If you can't find what you are looking for, they will keep an eye out and contact you as soon as any possibilities come in - with no obligation to buy. I came to visit so often that I ended up taking a cabin myself and I love it! K and S look after me and my cabin so well, and we always have a good laugh. It's also impossible to resist the cakes which isn't too good for the waistline!
Lovely place containing treasures that you wouldn't find anywhere else in Northampton! Will definitely be returning to find more of my childhood books :)
Items are clearly laid out very presentable and the staff are very kind
Its like the Tardis, much bigger than you think from the outside. Lots of interesting things to browse through. Very well run by Kim and Steve, you will see something different every time you go!
Ask to be introduced to "George" while you enjoy a drink and cake in the tea/coffee shop. Martin.
It's certainly an Aladin's cave, lots of small units with hidden treasures. Staff are lovely too, plus you can buy a cuppa while you're there.
It's a nice market. There're many good stuff. Seems like a excellent Chinese ink and wash painting will be sold. I've seen the pic of it on computer. Nice work. "Á´πÁü≥Ëò≠ȶô" comes from a six-character poem ‚ÄúÊúâÁåÆÊúâÁÇ∫ÊúâÂÆàÔºåÁ´πÊ∏ÖÁü≥ÈùúËò≠ȶ ô„ÄÇ‚Äù kinda means people amount to something also have best behavior, bamboo with faint scent stone still and orchid are fragrant. Bamboo, stones and orchids are all have good metaphorical meaning in Chinese. Wish this painting will meet a good buyer.
I spent my time shopping around various vintage shops today in hunt for some bedroom furniture and I found just what I wanted and more in this gem of a place. All I can say is they are such friendly and helpful owners and I couldn't be happier with my purchases. Thank you for all your help! I will definitely be recommending this place as it's awesome.
I finally found this little 'hidden gem 'today :).... And what a delight !!!!!..... I didn't know where to look 1st and I could have spent hours in there just wondering from little hut to little hut.....and then some .... It just went on & on goodie after goodie 'hidden' treasures everywhere if only you looked :).....but the one thing I liked ....wasn't for sale. !!... Lol...and I was very warmly welcomed by the lovely owners thank you and I will defo be back ;)
I am biased, I provide the cakes for the cafe......but, you are always sure of a warm welcome here, the traders are proficient at changing over the stock so no two weeks are the same...which all adds up to a marvellous way to spend a morning or afternoon, treasure hunting.....P.S. Kim make the best cuppa I have ever tasted...
Had a tardis outside the front of the shop, what a good representation you walk in and it’s bigger inside than outside. Will be going back for another look soon.
Great place, good cup of tea as well :)
From a chance FB post that I saw, I thought I would drop by and WOW, I am so glad that I did!! Don't let the front of the shop fool you, the place is massive and every inch is full of amazing stuff. There's something for everyone and I can see that I'll be visiting on a regular basis.
Fantastic Shoppe, you can totally emerse yourself in this place, has something for everybody and some things that will take your breath away..popped in this morning was totally gobsmacked, the yard has several Sheds with lots of items that will just fascinate you, some will just plain make you laugh....Loved the Tardis outside.....great feature....recommended for all ages, collectors,Steampunkers etc....5 stars worth every one...
Don't tell everyone about this place - they will all want to come!
A veritable Aladdin's cave - if you want your own up cycle project or to find those last bits for your special collection... This is the place.!!
Off the beaten track - loads of mad crazy nooks & cranny's to poke about in, it goes on for ever.. Hurrah!
This is proper shopping, not your over priced over painted tat ! You'll get all the help you want if you're looking for something in particular, but if you just want a rummage they'll leave you to that & just check you've not got lost or dozed off in a comfy corner ever so politely every so often.
Been there today never been before what a little gem of a place loads if items at reasonable prices we will be back
Awesome helpful people throughly recommend to anyone !
