My wife, sister-in-law, mother-in-law and I had a New Year's Day meal here. Excellent food at a very good price accompanied by friendly, speedy and efficient service. Would thoroughly recommend!

My husband and I came here for a meal on bank holiday May 7th our meals were excellent service very quick. Very friendly and welcoming staff highly recommended will be back agin

First time ive been there and must say the food is really good , friendly staff to even if they have to search my name when we arrived but found it and went to the table and gave us a menu straight away , have no complains , even my wife loved the food and we went there for her b day and she loved it ☺ keep up the good work i would say ☺

Came to OBH for boyfriends birthday meal with friends. Service was great and food and drinks came quickly. Food was amazing (loved the crispy karrage chicken, just needed more chicken!) maybe a wee bit expensive but happy to pay extra for a nice atmosphere. We all had a great meal and a fab night 😀

Came here for a late lunch one day...was so impressed with the wide range of food options catering to everyone's tastes...so booked for Mothers Day! We were all impressed with the service provided on an extremely busy day. Staff were friendly, courteous and good humoured. Food was great again. We will be returning in the near future! .

Came for my 30th and mine and my fiancè 6 year anniversary and the staff could not do enough. Food was brilliant, everything came quite quick but atmosphere was upbeat and had not seen place since renovated and it was amazing. Definitely be going back again soon!!!!

Had a really lovely meal! The vegan burger was absolutely delightful. Although for dessert I ordered the vegan treacle and pecan tart but actually received the vegan chocolate tart which is not what I asked for!

Excellent for this establishment! Pleasant, yet relaxed ambience, very attentive and knowledgable service, very good choices on Sunday's menu, beautifully presented with creative flair and good coffee! Plus the countryside setting! What's not to like?

Staff took away our drinks even though we told them to leave them as we were going outside for a fag. I was so looking forward to my birthday lunch but so many little things went wrong. Staff were very friendly and food was nice but overall disappointed.

Went as a group of 6 for Sunday lunch. Have to say that we found it overpriced for nothing special. I had the meat trio, which at £17.95 was expecting something exceptional but was thoroughly disappointed. The trio was a nasty leg of chicken with very little meat (and greasy) the smallest piece of beef that I nearly missed on my plate because it was so small and it was grisly and the pork was dry and over cooked. My meal had 2 roast potatoes of which we had to request more, only to be charged. Service was generally slow and we had to keep asking for things even spoons to serve up the vegetables which came in separate bowls. We both requested no parsnips but we still had the served up which tainted the carrots. We ordered drinks and after 25 mins waiting still hadn’t arrived. When drinks did arrive they were wrong, I was quite shocked at the price of wine by the glass from the bar... £9 for a large blush/rose wine and it tasted like the local corner basement bargain booze. Overall, the meal was no better than a Toby Carvery and only thing that was any good was the Yorkshire pudding. Thoroughly disappointed and we all decided it wasn’t a pub to recommend.

Customers around us who walked in after got their drinks and finished their starters. We thought we’d done something wrong as waiting staff kept coming to couples around us. When we went up to the bar with our coats to tell them to cancel our order as we’d been waiting over 40 mins for two drinks (so who knows how long we’d have to wait for food) there was very little applogy given. It’s a shame as we’ve had good experiences here before but will never be coming again. We popped down the road to The Quorndon Fox, where a cold beverage greeted us after only 3 mins. Much friendlier staff and all round positive vibe. First time we’ve ever walked out of a restaurant and lucky the Fox saved our anniversary from being ruined by poor customer service at The Old Bulls Head.
