Happy Birthday to us!!! Today is our 1st Birthday and we would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all our customers old and new for supporting us to get where we are today. Also to the team at The Orangery for making it happen.

Today we had our lovely competition winner Katie and her family in for their afternoon tea. Four generations all there to share a brilliant day.

Some lovely buttermilk chicken on our specials today served with skinny fries and bbq beans.

Our afternoon tea was absolutely delicious and the staff were welcoming and friendly.

We just wanted to thank you for a superb full English - totally delish!! And also for doing 'real' decaf coffee - it is a rare but wonderful thing! Thank you!

We had booked as a party of 5 but arrived with 1 extra adult + 2 children. We were impressed that this didn’t phase the staff at all,nothing was too much trouble. Our waitress immediately told the chef and then set about making a special table for the children. They were very happy to have their own table and were even allowed a teapot cups and saucers of their own!

The afternoon tea was delicious with a good choice for everyone including 1 vegetarian. There was more than enough for everyone including limitless tea and coffee.

The photos on the website really don’t do The Orangery justice, it is a beautiful room with a relaxing atmosphere.

The longed for Almond milk has arrived and the taste of the latte is fabulous �

Lovely birthday lunch there today for one of my sons. Setting is stunning and the Gin selection looks very very tempting ! You need to open evenings next please �

Lovely afternoon spent with sister and niece who were enjoying the afternoon tea. The staff couldn't do enough for us and this included putting together a low calorie meal, individually made for me as my initial choice had sold out. I had the tastiest meal that consisted of a lovely fresh salad to include Mediterranean vegetable, advocados and slices of fresh beef. All for under £9.00. All staff were efficient, helpful and friendly. A 5 star service, a 5 star meal in a 5 star setting.

I have had the pleasure of visiting here as a treat from my niece along with her daughter and her friend we had a fabulous afternoon

Had my baby shower at this stunning venue today. Was absolutely perfect and the service and food was amazing. Felt really well looked after. Thankyou so much to Ellie an Paul for sorting everything out for me. And the price was extremely good. X

Had a wonderful lunch here today, the food was delicious! Also recommend a walk in the walled garden next to the Orangery. A really lovely couple of hours �

Dogs are not allowed in the Orangery, and I understand why, but this limits me somewhat in wet weather. I'm looking forward to warmer weather walks when we can sit outside.

Christmas gathering December 2017, afternoon tea for 8 guests in the Beautiful Billiard Room. Highly recommended, the staff member Ellie, couldn’t have been more accommodating. Ellie didn’t rush us out, even though the cafe area was closed, fantastic service, took our coats on arrival, offered us music requests, suggested pink gin cocktails, which we highly recommend.



Upon booking we requested sandwich fillings for our fussy eaters, nothing was too much trouble. It’s a beautiful setting. We will all be making a return.



Only one minor comment, could you put a mirror into the washroom facilities in the Billiard room. Thank you and see you soon. ������

Came today for the fathers day afternoon tea and Beer tasting. Brilliant. Tasty Yum. We enjoyed every bite. Service was fantastic and fast. If you offer special events like this again I will definately be booking in.

About 13 of us came for afternoon tea last weekend. Great food, great service, no complaints. The afternoon tea was very nice and filling. Would definitely recommend to others. Beautiful surroundings to have a stroll after lunch too! �

You lost a point because the baked potatoes were microwaved. Lovely spot though and café has a gorgeous décor, incorporating some beautiful original features 😀

Afternoon tea was delicious, vegetarian option no problem. Lovely selection of scones and cakes. Delicious coffee, although have to pay extra if you want latte. Beautiful setting and helpful staff.
