Gender Scans
The Original Window to the Womb specialize in gender scans and has an excellent reputation and accuracy in this field .The earliest time for the ultrasound to be performed is 16 wks. Sneak a Peek Gender Scan £59 2D/3D Digital images of baby on Cd and four, 2D/3D pictures of your choice printed out on the day.... Three white lines (Girl - Gender Scan) When doing an ultrasound to determine the sex of your baby, an ultrasound sonographer will actually look for girl genitalia—labia and clitoris. When looking up and under baby’s bottom, with legs wide open you will see clearly defined three white lines.
Obvious sticky out bits (Boy - Gender Scan) When the ultrasound sonographer is looking for a boy, they are looking for obvious sticky out bits. This is where you can see the tip of the penis peeking between the legs. This may be harder to see with some babies, which is why there are multiple signs to look for during an ultrasound. The gestational age and position of the baby play a part in what can be seen. This obviously makes identifying a baby boy much easier.

Went for our 2nd time to find out the gender of our second baby and loved the whole experience! Everyone is kind and friendly, made you feel very welcome. My mum was in hospital so was able to FaceTime her during the scan so she didn’t miss out. Was a wonderful experience having the grandparents, aunts and uncles there! We brought my little girl a heartbeat unicorn which she adores and shows anyone who she passes! Will most defiantly be recommending you to anyone I can! Thank you

Went at 33 weeks for a 4d scan where we were told we were having a little boy and not a little girl which the NHS had told us! We were all in massive shock so we were told to come back the following week for a re-scan. All the staff were really friendly and helpful and especially the sonographer who really took her time and went the extra mile for us. Thank you to everyone involved. Without you all being so persistent and observant we would have had a massive shock in the delivery room! Can’t recommend enough �

We've been today for a 4D picturebox scan of our beautiful baby girl at 28 weeks and my gosh what an experience! We've been before at 16 weeks for gender scan but this one blew us away! The time the lady took scanning us and the patience they had managed to get us some amazing photos! They also included my 5yr old in the experience as much as possible which was lovely as he was so excited to see his baby sister on screen! So so happy and glad we came! Thank you so much to you all! Can't wait to send in a before and after when she's here in August!

We had our reassurance/gender scan yesterday and I can honestly say it was such a special day for my family. From the minute we walked through the door we were welcomed with warm smiles. Every single one of the ladies were fantastic. I arrived with a bladder full of pee determined to find out the sex of our baby 100%. They got me into the room which felt some calm and welcoming and turned out my bladder was too full and needed to go and do half a wee!! � it was hard but I managed it. I layed back down and rest assured it didn't take long to reveal what gender our baby is. A BOY and he wasn't afraid to show it � my husband and I are so over the moon and feel 100% complete. Thank you so much too you all at window to the womb in Nottingham. ��

We had both our gender scan and 4D scan here and had a fantastic experience � everyone was so kind and made us feel relaxed �, we can’t wait for our little boy to be here to compare the pics ��. Thank you for being amazing x x x x x

We had a gender scan and 4d scan at the end of last year. The staff are fantastic and the experience was amazing. The gender was bang on and our beautiful boy Harry was born earlier this month. I still look at the 4d scan and can’t believe he’s actually here. Such an amazing experience and we were looked after so well at both scans. Would definitely recommend ��

We had a 4d scan last Sunday of our little lady, I cannot recommend this place enough, they were so helpful and friendly from the minute we walked in until we left.

I felt as if we had met before, we had such a laugh.

Our little lady wasn’t playing ball first and we thought we weren’t going to get to see her face, but the ladies in the scan room did everything they could to get them amazing pictures.

Looking forward to meeting her now you’ve given us a glimpse of her beautiful face �.

We had 4d scan yesterday and either though our little boy was being bit difficult at first, the lady worked her magic and we got to see our little boy grumpy face.

All the staff were lovely and great, we had a great time and enjoyed seeing our baby.

We came today , and well what can I say other than “amazing “ we arrived early before they opened and they welcomed us in with amazing smiles and so much fun I haven’t laughed so much ever ! They made me and my husband feel welcome along with my 3 year daughter ( thank you again for her smarties ) � I would also like to thank the loverly two ladies who scanned me they was most welcoming and I was made to feel comfortable, and relax to have an amazing experience,

I would love to thank the gentleman that welcomed us through the doors early and was with us to the very last minute handing over our photos of or little boy, (Thank you so much your a credit ) and want to say thank you again for making the extra effort for our poorly Mamma � Thanks Guys

Thankyou to all the staff at window to the womb i had a 4d scan today to see my princess and it was such an amazing experience. I was in a panic as i was running late as i couldnt find them so i phoned in a frantic panic that id miss my appointment the staff couldnt of done anymore told me to take my time and they would wait for me and as i arrived got the most warmest of welcome absalutly highly reccomend!!

Had our gender scan yesterday & decided not to find out until the evening using one of your cannons. After 4 boys were over the moon to be having our first daughter. My only wish is that the lady has put a potty shot picture in our disc of photos because I’m in such disbelief and feel like I need to see it after 4 boys �. Although I’m sure she thought I’d peak early & ruin the surprise � xx

Had a 16 week gender scan which was spot on and today I went back for the v.i.b 4d package all the ladies are wonderful and so patient seeing as my little boy wouldn't cooperate. Invited back in 2 weeks for a rescan which is amazing as I still thought the pictures were amazing. wonderful place with lovely lovely staff. can't wait to go back and see you again!

Genuinely, worth the money! Very welcoming, professional and makes you feel special. Hreat team, from receptionist, scanning team and even person helping pick the favourite photos. Compared to the normal hospital scans which are very cold and institutionalised, the experience we had were very calming and personal. This is what all scans should be like.

From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, the ladies were amazing! They explained how the scan was going to go and when we went in, they were explaining what we were seeing from our baby girl trying to eat the umbilical cord to waving at us! We then got to choose our favourite pics to go on the key rings and the 4 postcode size print outs. Not once were we rushed which was really nice.

It was such a magical experience and I would definitely recommend them!! Thank u very much Julie & team xxxxx

Came again today still as fantastic as ever, cant add any more than i did 3yrs ago.

great customer service, place is homely and felt welcoming, very busy had to wait 15mins for my scan, but staff kept us informed and happy. We loved Laylas preloved room brill idea. got loads of stuff really cheap for my lovely. Thank you will recommend to my friends. (after i tell Dean)

Absolutely amazing � the staff are all so warm and welcoming and very friendly , you feel at ease and home there . I went for a gender reveal , The experience was wonderful they took their time to check baby was ok , showed me the baby in 4d and caught some amazing images . I also had a heartbeat teddy which I’m so in love with . Thank you to all the staff for making my experience so lovely x This is not the first time I’ve been and won’t be the last x
