Anyone that has a gift voucher/afternoon tea pre paid for, thank you for your patience. It has took me 3 days to pack up my things and officially move from Spencer Court so apologies I have not been in contact yet regarding refunds. That’s next on my list. If a voucher was bought as a gift for you, can you send me a private message and i will arrange the refund with you. Thank you to everyone’s kind comments/messages and feedback following today’s post. Thank you to all the customers who visited and for the cards and gifts and support. It means a lot. Thank you to the staff and family/friends who helped me pack and try to get organised. Feeling very grateful, thanks again 😊
I'm sad to say that the lease for the premises to The Pantry and The Glasshouse was up for renewal and the charges and costs of the building in the location it was set was unfortunately not cost effective for me to continue with the tearoom. Those who know me, know that I opened a tearoom for the concept of loving to bake and wanting to create a lovely affordable and peaceful atmosphere for customers to relax in and enjoy, for staff to have a nice/non bitchy place of work, an...d for myself to do what I love: bake and serve/eat cake 😀. I will miss the tearoom, the staff, our regulars and general customers very much and I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to do what I love for 10 months. I feel so lucky that I had the chance of my little Dream, a huge thank you to all those that supported me and encouraged me during my time at the tearoom and prior to opening. Thank you to all the people who liked, shared posts, the people who used and supported our service, the friends and family that helped me decorate and deliver leaflets and for everyone's kind and positive feedback. Thank you to my dedicated, hardworking staff and for those who made my first business experience an enjoyable one. I feel very lucky to have the memories and knowledge I've gained. The grey hairs and wrinkles have been well worth it. I will be continuing to do birthday cakes/ wedding cakes to order as normal and I will be looking at other avenues for The Pantry to explore and will update the page when I know more. Anyone who has booked in for afternoon tea (I will be in touch) and those of you who have bought gift vouchers will be given a full refund. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. TODAY; Monday 2nd April is our last day open in the town centre, all products will be reduced, hope to see our regulars for some tea and cake (normal breakfast & lunch menu still available) xx

Visited today with my partner and daughter. Cakes were devine, especially the roulade which was so light and tasted so good. Good coffee and my daughter was particularly happy as they sell pink lemonade. Comfortable seating and relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.
Visited The Pantry whilst on a visit from Ireland with a few friends. We were able to sit in the catch up corner which was also suitable for my 7 year old as he was able to play with toys and use the chalkboard wall 👌 The warm and friendly atmosphere was lovely and was very happy as they had a great selection of food available for me and my son. Overall excellent 👍

Service was amazing and the food was really nice. Jacket potato was cooked beautifully and the cheese was really tasty. The homemade cheese cake was gorgeous. It's also been decorated really nicely. Definitely recommend this place.

Really nicely decorated, everything looked lovely, staff were very helpful and cheerful but most of all, we enjoyed the coffee. Hope they are successful. We will definitely go back
Popped in today and absolutely loved it, the atmosphere and service was amazing and the butterscotch latte was the best.

My friend and I thought we would try out the new place to treat ourselves to some cake while out shopping and what a treat we got! Good selection of cakes to choose from. Cakes were lovely along with a cold glass of Diet Coke. Just what you need for a little pick me up! Service was excellent and staff are very friendly. Would defo be back again. Thanks ladies
My daughter and I decided to pop in for a quick lunch on Friday. I had heard it advertised on the radio but didnt realise where it was until we walked through town. We had the best toastie we have had in ages. They use lovely seeded wholemeal bread, a good tasting mature cheese and lovely ham. Full of flavour! The cafe is lovely inside with the decor and comfy seats.

I went here after being recommended by a friend. I had a late and chicken salad baguette. It was lovely, I really enjoyed the food and the service was excellent, was a lovely atmosphere to sit and relax while enjoying my lunch � would highly recommend

Came in today while christmas shopping first visit to corby shopping , had a lovely lunch and cake and will def visit again while my son enjoys the skate park your shop is beautiful
