The Prince'S Trust In Leicestershire & Northants Description
At The Prince's Trust, we believe every young person should have the chance to succeed. Our mission is to help disadvantaged young people in the UK to change their lives and get into work, education or training. We support young people aged 13-30 who are unemployed and those struggling at school.
Our free programmes give young people the practical and financial support they need to stabilise their lives. We help them develop key skills while boosting their confidence and motivation.
We have helped more than 825, 000 young people since 1976. More than three in four young people we have helped last year moved into jobs, education or training.
As well as our dedicated team of staff, our programmes are supported by more than 6, 000 volunteers. We have more than 1, 200 operational and strategic partners including schools and FE colleges, the Fire Service, the Police Service and the Armed Forces.
As the UK's leading youth charity, we need to raise more than £1 million each week to continue our vital work. We achieve this through the committed support of our partners in the public and private sector.
We also run an annual programme of fundraising concerts and events, adventure challenges and our popular Palace to Palace cycle rides.
With the continued effects of unemployment affecting young people today, we believe our support for young people remains as important as ever.

This week long programme is fun, free and gives you an insight into the sports sector as well as gaining a recognised coaching qualification!
Spend a week at King Power Stadium playing football and working towards a qualification. Get a stadium tour and spend time in a VIP box and play football with the iconic Filbert the Fox!
... After the programme is finished – you can progress onto the Premier League Works 12 week employability programme and further your qualification to help you find work!
Travel is reimbursed and lunch is provided, meaning this programme will cost you nothing at all - what have you got to lose?!
Taster Day is 12th September and the programme runs from 17th – 21st September.
