Went on the 15th October to celebrate my Grandads 90th birthday. Had a fantastic meal. Really friendly and helpful staff. Can't fault anything. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

We held a surprise birthday party at The Punchbowl for a special lady who was turning 80.

All staff were Fantastic and Sarah went beyond all expectations to make it an occasion to remember.

Everyone commented on the superb quality of the catering and a good time was had by all.

Thank you Sarah and Scott for making this event so special with your personal touches.

Lovely pub, serves excellent food,cosy and friendly!!

Just had the most amazing burger ever this has to be the best place for food in Derbyshire cracking food and lovely staff � recommend recommend recommend

Have previously been for pie nights and they where fantastic yummy homemade pies but wow the selection offered now is absolutely fantastic delicious homemade food but with a twist of a posh restaurant! Extremely good value for money and a real bonus for us was the childrens fish and chips was of the same standard of an adults meal no cheap nasty substitute! The service was ace we was very well looked after! Would highly recommend if looking for delicious food of restaurant standard but affordable prices and child friendly! Easily one of the best up and coming places to dine out locally!

Had fantastic lunch time meal, food was fantastic, very tasty and presented beautiful, the staff and chef was very hands on which was great. 5* well recommended for a visit

Being a Vegan is sometimes hard when dining out. However, I have eaten here twice in the last few weeks and nothing was too much trouble. The chef personally liaised with me on the spot and served up some delicious food. Definitely worth the five stars.

Visited yesterday with my Husband & our 15 month old son. It was lovely to see they had a children's play area & swings for younger children. My son loved it. Food & drinks were lovely but I have to agree with others that the prices were abit expensive. Will definitely visit again as it's nice to go somewhere where our son can have a play too.

Lovely atmosphere. Cozy, well laid out with some very friendly staff. Nice place to enjoy a cold pint or stuff your face with the great carvery!

Had Sunday carvery today and the food was fantastic, would definitely recommend. Ours was a large table so only suggestion would be to give larger parties extra time as by the time we had finished our carvery the next sitting was due and we were politely told so. Luckily none of us could manage a dessert but wouldn't have had enough time even if we did.

Great pub ...needs to sort out food ordering system ....more staff on.busy nights ...also prices on beer bit expensive...but a great pint and really lovely food .. will still visit as meet my friends there once a week...��
