Just to let everyone know, the pub was broken into last night so if anyone saw or heard anything we would be very grateful if you could let us know. fortunately only £50 was taken out of the till and some alcohol was taken from behind the bar (a waste of time if you ask me!) More importantly keep an eye out for anything suspicious as it looks like the area is being targeted - stay safe ladies and gents.

What a great food opening weekend! The support by our locals and those who have traveled further a field was fantastic!! Thank you for the lovely 5* reviews!

Another great week at The Queens Head, thanks again for all your support! Just to let everyone know as it's a bank holiday we will be opening at 4pm today.

What a weekend so far! The support we have had over the last couple of days has been fantastic, it has been lovely to meet you all and we look forward to seeing you all soon!
Just to give everyone a heads up we will be open on all bank holiday Monday's (including this one) - on standard week days we will be open Tuesday to Sunday, opening times will be confirmed outside the pub as well as on Facebook.
We will be announcing our food opening night over the next couple of week...s, our aim is to open for food by the end of May - this will be advertised in the pub as well as on Facebook.

We would like to announce that The Queens Head will be opening on Friday the 4th of May.
We aim to start food at the end of May, the date will be confirmed later in the month.
We had hoped to open on Friday 27th April, but due to unforeseen circumstances this has now been delayed until Friday 4th May.
... We are very excited about our new venture, and very much look forward to meeting everyone.

Went today for food was with a mate. Think it's been taken over. Food and staff were great!

Went for a meal with my husband tonight. It was amazing food, beautifully served and fantastic quality. I would highly recommend.

We were blown away by the beautiful surroundings and how upmarket and welcoming the pub is. Having eaten in some of the top restaurants we can honestly say that only someone with a great passion for produce and cooking could have produced dishes like that - it was a culinary delight! The pub is full of positive, youthful energy mixed with an old school respect for service and cuisine. The Queens Head is not to be missed - an absolute favourite for food lovers.

The food was amazing and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be back�

The food tonight was outstanding! Can't wait to come again, wish i could give more stars �
