Today I want to say thank you to St John’s for this letter I received in the cafe. A small token that means the world! It’s small gestures like this in really challenging times that makes Moira a community. Temporary Closure
In light of the Government’s announcement yesterday, we will be closing The Quirky Bird until it is safe to open again.
We are still trying to remain positive, we are really sorry for any disappointment this has caused and are looking forward to the day we re-open and seeing everyone again when this all passes.
... Meanwhile, please take care of yourself and your families. Our thoughts and thanks are with all the healthcare professionals who are working so hard and selflessly.

Today we are launching a Pay It Forward Scheme to help the most in need in our community.
When you visit just ask to add an extra coffee, bowl of porridge, sandwich or wrap or a hot meal to your bill.
We will work with GAP, so that those in the community who need it benefit.
