The Rivington (Formerly Rivington Bowling Club)

The day has come we’re we have sat down as a family to be told the best of news. Jordan is now out of the danger zone with her head injury and is improving day by day. Her response and communication is remarkable. She will still remain on major trauma ward due to all her breaks and fractures which are now the next step to Jordan’s recovery. We all have a long way to go with Jordan’s recovery but to just hear her speak and giggle means so much. Thankyou all so much for all the... kind words and wishes, it really means a lot to us but also Jordan💛 As said before we cannot thank the Major Trauma staff enough, they are amazing at what they do. They have stood by Jordan but also us as a family at this horrific time.

After the most longest 3 days of our life’s I can now say to you all that our beautiful sister jordan has opened her eyes and has seen our faces. To everyone sending there prayers, they’ve been answered. Jordan is still in a serious condition but her opening her eyes this morning was enough for us all. Jordan has a long way to recovery with all her injuries, and will remain in critical care for now. As a family we cannot thank you all for all the support given and all the kin...d words it means so much💛 Jordan is such an inspiration. We cannot thank all the team on the Major Trauma unit at Preston Hospital enough they are amazing at what they do.

As many of you are now aware of the Hit and Run incident that took place last night involving our beautiful Jordan. Jordan is in a critical way at Preston Hospital as we speak. We will be closed tomorrow until further notice as right now we need time as a family to support Jordan.

Having a phone call this morning to say there is a fire is not what we ideally wanted. As we’ve arrived we know no someone has lit a fire deliberately causing it to spread and burn out my dads bunker with all his belongings inside. it’s actually heartbreaking! Cannot thank the Fire team enough for putting the fire out before it escalated! We will find out who this is this time! Any information will be appreciated.

Enjoyed by walkers, dogs, bikers or anyone who just wants to sit and relax or meet friends. There is a bar and it is even possible to watch or take part in Crown green bowling.



Run by Neil and Rachel and family who create a great atmosphere. On my furs visit I asked for extra hot chocolate ( I didn’t need to because it was perfect). Such is the attention to detail that Rachel remembers this every time I visit!

Very friendly and welcoming, good selection of food and drink at the right price. Great for couples of all ages and families.

Nice to know these little places still exist and thrive, an excellent alternative to the Barns.

This was a great find for our cycling club; a genuine welcome and no corporate BS; just nice people happy to provide a service to one and all with a real smile.Thanks to all the staff for making us so welcome :)

Not 1 but 2 visits today to The Rivington before and after a walk up to the wonderful Pigeon Tower in Rivington. A very warm welcome, lovely food and fantastic atmosphere at this family run business.



Great to see the huge investment in ambitious new developments to the buildings. I know it will only bring more happy customers!!
