Wonderful warm welcome, staff are very helpful. Food was fantastic, even more so when you see the temporary kitchen.

A country pub with great food and a warm friendly crew.

We had dinner here last weekend and what a change has taken place in a short time. It was my husbands choice and what a choice it was! A few teething issues with the kitchen we where told but you couldn't tell from the food that was served. Can't wait to come back when the kitchen is fully operational, which will be soon!

We enjoyed a delicious Sunday afternoon lunch today/ the meat was tender and delicious and veg spot on. The fact that Craig is producing food of such standard in a temporary kitchen shows his skill and determination XLaura and Lee

Very friendly and welcoming. Lovely pub and great beer. Looking forward to revisiting for a meal �

Thank you for making our Book Club Christmas meal so wonderful. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the food was superb. The selection of gins behind the bar can certainly be recommended. All 7 of us thoroughly enjoyed our menu choices from the Festive Menu. Many thanks

It's a rare thing to walk into a pub and be made to feel so welcome. An amazing range of drinks, especially gin! As for the food?!?!? Good Lord it's good.

I have eaten Craig's food before and no matter where he cooks, it is most pleasing to the taste buds and the eyes. It is now come to the point where me and my partner go out for a meal and we constantly compare our meal to Craig's cooking. "It's good but it's not Craig", are generally the words used. Keep up the good work guys, LOVE YOUR WORK! X

Have eaten at Robin Hood now for Sunday Lunch, Sunday Brunch, and twice for the BBQ night, and on all occassions the quality of the food has been excellent. Craig, the Chef, focusses on quality above quantity which suits me fine, albeit I have never left hungry. Amazing roasts, amazing steaks cooked exactly as ordered and seasoned to perfection, which is Craig's hallmark. Considering the makeshift kitchen facilities he is having to use at present, Craig is doing an amazing job, and I just can't wait for his full menu/service to become available shortly. So good to have a quality dining venue back in the locality and we hope all the locals come out and visit and help Craig and Tita make the Robin Hood a great success

Enjoyed a very tasty well cooked steak tonight, with quite simply the best sticky toffee pudding I have ever had. Would highly recommend.

Can not fully say how much I enjoyed the meal it was excellent would definetly recommend to everyone the steak was perfection and the service was faultless well done Tita and Craig and staff

Couldn’t fault the food & service it was superb. Shame the restaurant was cold with no sign of heating

Booked a table for four, shown to our table and the restaurant area was flippin cold, other diners had coats on, as did i ! Not good at all !!! Need the heating on!!! I couldnt see any radiators in the dinning area, and the fire they had, wasnt even on!!! Ordered drinks, a cocktail, sorry ya cant have a cocktail as the member of staff who makes them isnt in today. A pint of ipa, yes fine, oh sorry ya cant have that as its not popular so weve taken it off, a can of iron brew plse, ok, oh ya cant have iron brew, we sold out this afternoon!! Not good at all !!!

The food however was a completely different story, galloway steak, fish n chips, all cooked exceptionally well, absolutely beautiful, beautifully presented and tasted divine, as did the desserts, honeycomb brownie and peach melba cheescake,followed by homemade chocolates, could not fault the food in any way shape or form, scrumptious!!!

I would return but only in the summer months when heating isnt as much an issue, but i dont appriciate eating my meal whilst dothering, and it was, flippin cold!!!! Also the drink situation needs sorted. Food wise , brilliant.
