Hiya Folks! Well, tomorrow is the last day of The Rook before entering the exciting new world of mobile catering and market trading, plus a bit of sign writing, canvas painting and all kinds of arty crafty stuff. We’ve served some amazing food & coffee & cakes and listened to some damned good music. We’ve hosted carol concerts and whiskey tastings, market days and curry nights. We’ve enjoyed family parties and held graffiti classes for the youth, rescue dog days and have ...been proud to help out with all sorts of other local events. But The Rook wouldn’t have been so good without the people. The wonderful lovely businesses that supported us from before day one. The artists that supplied all the amazing, varied and beautiful arts and crafts. The customers, friends and family! You came from everywhere. Thank you so much. And to our staff. You have all been so fabulous, we couldn’t have done it without you and we can’t thank you enough. You have done everything to make it the welcoming, comfortable environment we sought.
