Wow!!! I can't remember the last time I went to a pantomime, but we saw Sleeping Beauty last night and had decided we would probably leave in the interval because, after all, pantos are for kids aren't they? Well, we were blown away by how good it was! My husband and I laughed the whole way through! The cast worked really hard, the organisation was fantastic and the 3D effects were something else! Well done to everyone involved! Looking forward to the Wizard of Oz next year!! :-)

User

Was at seven drunken nights on friday ... what a fantastic show then have just been again today to beauty and the beauty - another brilliant show. So funny...

User

Visited The Sands on a school visit to see 'Sleeping Beauty'. Amazing organisation, person there to meet and greet off the coach and then handed over to another person to show us to our seats. Despite there being lots of schools there, this process ran smoothly which is what you need on a school visit particularly our first panto there. The panto itself was just brilliant, the children loved it despite being a long time for little ones to sit and even the scary bits were enhanced too. Well done to all your front of house staff. They were outstanding

User

Seven drunken nights last night....one of the best shows ever. I have been a fan of the Dubliners since the 60's and this tribute was amazing it did the original lads proud. Their story was told with real affection and enthusiasm by the new band totally loved it.

User

Saw Joe Bonamassa last night great venue and a great sound and a sold out crowd very appreciative, Staff very helpful getting people to there seats ever after the concert started, How people can't read a simple Row and seat number on there ticket it amazes me , the number of people that had to be moved was unreal 🎸🎼

User

I’ve seen Blood Brothers 2 times before tonight, including in London and I can truly say this was the most amazing performance by far. The cast were spectacular, every single one of them! Lynn Paul’s emotion was incredible

Thank you

User

I hadn't been at the Sands Centre for years and was amazed at how well it had smartened itself up. Staff were friendly and helpful, good service at the bar but the biggest change was to the auditorium - the sound is no longer tinny. Baffling has been added to the walls to stop the echo effect from the old breeze block walls - so much better.

User

I came to see 20th century boy musical 2 nights what a awesome Time me and my friends had being big Marc bolan fans so well done to all involved in the production we laughed we cried and we had a boogie so well done to the sands centre staff all so helpful and polite

User

Had a great time last night at the sands centre watching Sarah Millican who was as funny if not funnier than the last time she was here

User

Blood Brothers was absolutely amazing. Mickey did the most fantastic performance and the connection that was created between characters and audience had me crying like a baby before the final scenes. Lyn Paul was brilliant as the lead. So worthwhile to book a ticket if you possibly can - The standing ovation to conclude the night was spontaneous and so well deserved.

User

Blood Brothers tonight fabulous moving performance, if you’ve not booked tickets yet I’d highly recommend you get some you’ll not be disappointed. Brilliant cast led by a powerful performance by Lyn Paul

User

Been twice within 6 weeks icons of the 80,s & the real thing last night very well organised on both counts. Hopefully a few more headline acts & we'll definitely be back keep up the good work brilliant

User

There on Sat night watching the sound of Nashville and again last night watching Flashdance, both were brilliant shows in there own right loved every minute of both

User

Went to see Soul Legends. Booked tickets in February but was looking forward to seeing Lemar but it wasn’t him. Contacted Sands to be told apparently we bought tickets before they advertised Lemar so tough. Show was ok. Started late due to long slow moving queues. Same thing happened at Jason Manford.

User

Saw Derren Brown last night, really great show, amazing to watch live. We were told at the beginning that due to the concentration required to perform anyone who needed to leave during the first half would not be re admitted, which is fine. I would have imagined though that your staff would then have been told that due to this they should probably not cause distractions? A group of your staff came and stood next to the circle seats where I was sitting and chatted and texted through most of the first half. Another had decided to sit on a fold up seat close by and made an awful lot of noise moving her possessions around too. Sounds like a minor issue but it ruined the enjoyment of the first half of the show for myself and people sitting near to me and makes your staff look pretty unprofessional.

User

Attended the Chris Ramsey show a couple of weeks back and while Chris and his support act Carl Hutchinson were outstanding, the conduct of some of the venue staff was disgraceful. Following the show, Chris & Carl did a signing session and posed for photos/selfies etc and had a chat with folk. Understandably this was quite popular with quite a sizeable queue which didn't go down well with some members of staff. One woman was heard saying "God's sake, we've told him to quicken things up and not talk as much but he's not listening". There were also several members of staff hanging round the doors switching off lights etc and constantly checking their watches. One man even stood with a padlock and chain constantly rattling it in a pretty blatant attempt to speed things up.

I just think that if Chris, Carl or whoever want to take the time to meet the people that have come along, bought the tickets/programmes etc and thank them for this, they should be allowed to without being hassled by staff looking for an early finish. Just a shame this spoiled what was an otherwise enjoyable night

User

While the desk staff are friendly they seemed unable to answer a simple question about whether dogs are allowed in the upcoming vegan festival. They sent me away to ask those running the event who promptly told

me it’s under the sands discretion so I have had a bit of a wild goose chase to be told no.. could have been told days ago when I went in.

User

Staff are very rude no customer services skills what so ever and need more signs to tell you what your not allowed to do rather than speak to you like a child I won't be back and I'l will name and shame you over social media

User

So where was Lemar on Friday night? Had to sit thro a concert i would never have attended thinking he was appearing! Spoke to a member of staff afterwards who said he had cancelled! Why were we not told before the event? Shoddy, deceitful and ? unlawful! Get your act together! To say i was disappointed all round is an under statement! Have also contacted the shambolic events company who organised this no show!
