No food served Boxing Day - CLOSED ALL DAY 27th - 30th - Normal Hours Monday 31st - 12noon til late, food served in restaurant only, last service 7pm, bookings only. We came here on Saturday night it was a really good atmosphere , felt relaxed and the staff where very helpful and efficient.



Food was excellent I have paid double the amount for the quality that the settlement dish out , very good value for money I couldn't believe it when I got the bill .



Will always go back and always highly recommend this to anyone .

Visited today with my family and friends for lunch. Food was amazing, hot and decent sized portions.

Had 2 children's meals of chicken, chips and peas, freshly cooked chicken fillets not your everyday cheap processed food.

Service was good, young waiter was polite and helpful.

Only downside was the room we ate in became very hot and uncomfortable, only one window could be opened and it wasn't wide enough to put ur hand through so not alot of air came in.

Will definitely visit again �����

I have visited a couple of times recently & on both occasions the food has been delicious, the staff are very friendly & helpful - I thought I was missing out as watched some cocktails being made, but I was driving, they went out of their way to make my drink look exciting too, it not only looked good, but tasted good as well. Would definitely go again.

Great food, great choice of beers, wines and spirits. Plus the added bonus of quality local banter �

After being let down by Caistor Lakes, our party of 7 were accommodated by the friendly staff at the Settlement when we turned up without booking. The food was delicious and portion sizes were generous. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We didn't know where to go for an impromptu tea tonight and decided to try the settlement .. Never been there to eat before so didn't know how it would be. It was great.. staff friendly and happy, food good and tasty, steak cooked to medium rare perfectly and a lovely light pudding and good coffee .. will certainly revisit...Thankyou

Visited today (again!) for Sunday lunch, consistently lovely food..just one disappointment, you've changed your gravy! Prior to today I can honestly say your gravy, which was gluten free as standard, was absolutely delicious!

I appreciate that you made me a jug of gluten free gravy to have with my lunch, it was ok, but not a patch on what I've had before.

Please consider reverting to your original gravy...pleeease?!

Popped in for lunch.. enjoyed it very much...sis had gammon eggs and chips, i had sausage and caramelized onions on a lovely bun with salad sweet potato chips coleslaw .. and my sister in law had a tuna sandwich with crisps and salad and coleslaw... we ate the lot ..

Only had a coffee friendly staff would recommend

Friendly welcome, extensive menu, prompt service & delicious food. A bit pricey but very enjoyable. The four of us were the only diners for a late lunch on a Saturday. Luckily we had a lot of catching up to do so relished the quietness. Would go again but would try an evening when hopefully there'd be a little more atmosphere.

Best veggie Thai green curry ever Simply the best

Went today, first time. Probably won't go again. Although 3 course Christmas Lunch is advertised as available all through December the chef refused to put one on for us. As only two of us were in there for food we waited 50 minutes after ordering for our food to arrive. However, the service from the young lady who served us today was faultless and professional.

Went here yesterday afternoon with a small group of friends as a leaving meal for a friend. An hours wait for the food to arrive and the food wasn't the best! Let alone the mess up on the orders! It ruined the afternoon and we was the only customers in at the time!

We booked a table for 6 for Sunday for 215pm. Placed our order and after a 40 minute wait our food arrived. The Yorkshire puddings were burnt but being hungry I let that go. I tasted the mash and as with everyone else's it was cold. All the meals were returned, and after 10 minutes they all came back again. I had to resend my sons back as it was still cold. All the Yorkshires, roast and parsnips were soggy. My mums chicken was dry and tough. The staff looked very embarrassed and knew we weren't happy. We were given a free round of drinks but the dining experience was totally spoil it. We were asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu which didn't arrive with us until after 20mins, when by that time my husband had all ready decided to go to pay the bill. £69 for that, felt like a complete waste of money. We booked here as my husband had Sunday Lunch a few weeks ago with my son and said it was very nice, which makes it more of a let down.
