The Shed

In the Main bar tonight we are just a normal bar where you can take full advantage of our killer Happy Hour deals from 5pm - 8pm. However in The Vault, Scruff of the Neck bring you yet another cracking night of live music with Finches of Attica, OHANA and Yodaclub!

It's Independent Venue Week launch day and we are over the moon to be able to show you what we have in store at The Shed for Independent Venue Week 2019. There are still a few more shows to be announced and trust us, they are big ones. Keep your eye on our socials this month.

In the main room, SF_Gaming are back tonight with Throwback Thursday Gaming! They'll be bringing in a ton of screens and games for you to get your gaming fix. In The Vault though, we're launching the announcement of Independent Venue Week in style with Goldblume!

Visited the new Shed on Saturday for Super73. Superb job with the makeover. Spot on decor and fab new bar/drinks selection! Excellent work ÿ¢§

The refurbishment is great and the whole place has changed for the better. I see that some people are saying the shed could be the best venue in Leicester, that's fair and I look forward to seeing more gigs there

The refurbished venue has been a long time coming and they did a bloody good job of it too. We played a sold out show here on the 15th July and the staff were incredibly accommodating to our needs leading up to the show as well as on the night. 100% recommend this place for any tour coming around the midlands.

Great staff and overall a great experience gigging there on Tuesdays open mic night with my band The Southern Rum Line!!! Let's keep the Leicester music scene alive and kicking by playing this fantastic venue!!!

The 1st time ive been to the shed since ellie goulding played in 2009 , what a fantastic improvement , great refurb and top notch sound quality - lovely little venue !!! ÿ¢§

Refurb is great, so much space. Drinks are well priced and the staff are lovely! Hopefully there this be an new era for The Shed!

On arriving last night I was welcomed by Elizabeth, the manager, & Ed, the sound engineer. All the staff were very friendly & were enjoying their work. The atmosphere for our gig was amazing! The stage area is incredible to play on. 5 stars all the way. See you again soon!

If I was to use expletives, a word beginning with F would be used before the word awesome.

This place holds memories for numerous people young and old.

It is a treasure that should be cherished and spoken of nationwide.

I went in yesterday before seeing a show at the curve place is very friendly and bar prices are awesome for a city centre location saw a band earlier in the year as well and have no complaints. Toilets are funky.

I was really impressed with the refurb, it looks fantastic & I was pleasantly surprised with the beer prices. I look forward to visiting again.

I haven't been to this place in ten years, I loved every night I spent there. What an atmosphere, what a venue.. either playing live or going to see others, this was the place to be in the 2000s!! #longlivetheshed !!!

Absolutely brilliant venue, I used to visit The Shed all the time when i used to live in leicester, but after visiting the venue with the new ownership they have really kept all of the character and brilliance of the old venue! I had an absolutely fantastic night out there it's brilliant! :)

A great place after the refit. Good venue, great sound in both rooms. Drinks prices very good too! Well done :)

A brilliantly diverse venue. Always something going on whether it's a touring act or a night of bizarre oddities. Probably the most active hotspot for sampling Leicester's music scene from the mainstream to the disgustingly underground.

The new improved shed is a fantastic little venue. Nice and clean, well presented staff and tastefully re furnished. I was impressed with the price of drinks. ôÈ3 a pint of Amstel, which for a city centre location is pretty good. As word gets around that the shed is indeed a cool place to play, I can see this venue making big strides in the local music industry. My one criticism is that the sound man for the gig I attended wasn't the best. Well he didn't do any of the bands any favours, which is a shame because it is a music venue after all, first and foremost the music must sound as good as it can. I'm sure he is still getting to know the venue and the kit, with abit of time hopefully he will come good and get that place rocking.

I went in yesterday before seeing a show at the curve place is very friendly and bar prices are awesome for a city centre location saw a band earlier in the year as well and have no complaints. Toilets are funky.

I was really impressed with the refurb, it looks fantastic & I was pleasantly surprised with the beer prices. I look forward to visiting again.

I haven't been to this place in ten years, I loved every night I spent there. What an atmosphere, what a venue.. either playing live or going to see others, this was the place to be in the 2000s!! #longlivetheshed !!!

Great venue. I hired it for a launch party and it was perfect! Sound was awesome and all the staff were on point. Will definitely be doing more events there

Absolutely brilliant venue, I used to visit The Shed all the time when i used to live in leicester, but after visiting the venue with the new ownership they have really kept all of the character and brilliance of the old venue! I had an absolutely fantastic night out there it's brilliant! :)

A brilliantly diverse venue. Always something going on whether it's a touring act or a night of bizarre oddities. Probably the most active hotspot for sampling Leicester's music scene from the mainstream to the disgustingly underground.

The new improved shed is a fantastic little venue. Nice and clean, well presented staff and tastefully re furnished. I was impressed with the price of drinks. ôÈ3 a pint of Amstel, which for a city centre location is pretty good. As word gets around that the shed is indeed a cool place to play, I can see this venue making big strides in the local music industry. My one criticism is that the sound man for the gig I attended wasn't the best. Well he didn't do any of the bands any favours, which is a shame because it is a music venue after all, first and foremost the music must sound as good as it can. I'm sure he is still getting to know the venue and the kit, with abit of time hopefully he will come good and get that place rocking.
