Went in one Sunday afternoon for a drink & cake! Loved it! Great selection of delicious cakes, games for the little ones, high chairs with plenty of room! Very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back!!! X

Wendy made some Scones for our wedding cream tea, and by golly they were amazing. Every single one was polished up! Fastest cake in the world? Scone.

We came here today for lunch and it was delicious!! The food was seriously lovely! Instagram worthy cupcakes and lush ciabatta! We loved the pop up tea rooms, well now this is my new weekend treat! Thanks Wendy and your lovely family!

Visited the Skylark today and I cannot fault it! Got in touch in advance to book one of the best seats in the house and to check for GF options, seems nothing was too much to ask!

Had a wonderful sandwich and a cake that was so good I had to get one to take home. Have a feeling we may be moving our mums group to here often now!

Visited the Skylark Bakery again today, I am sure the cupcakes just get better everytime I go there! Fantastic to have gluten free and vegan options, so neither my daughter or myself miss out! Friendly service and great cakes, keep up the good work. Looking forward to my next visit already.

Thank you for our absolutely stunning wedding cake! It looked and tasted amazing and was all eaten up! Fantastic service, you knew exactly what I wanted and made it even better than I imagined and the baby cakes were beautiful as well all the children loved them! Would give 5 stars every day! Xx

She made the most beautiful simple and elegant red velvet cake for my sister leaving England. It looked stunning, and she even went the extra mile of creating a big heart on the top, a nice little surprise. It was deliciously moist and I would definitely recommend.

I've lost count of the number of special celebration cakes we have had - peter rabbit, in the night garden to name a few. Each one has not only looked amazing but tasted delicious too. We would not go anywhere else for a special occasion cake. Oh and the cupcakes - they are amazing too!

I stumbled across Skylark when a friend recommended her amazing cupcakes. I decided to book Wendy to make my daughter and her friends joint birthday cake. I let Wendy have free reign with the vague theme of princesses and superheros, I was not disappointed with the end result. The cake tasted awesome too. Since then I've visited the cafe a few times and have always been welcomed by the friendly staff, the cake selection and the quality tea. Skylark is now my go to cake shop for any occasions and I've not been disappointed with any cake purchased.

I can't recommend enough, my daughters birthday cake was just beautiful. She loved it and everyone at her party commented on how fab it was and how amazing it tasted! Thank you so much Wendy! Xx

Holy cow! That was a seriously good cupcake. But really, maybe the best cupcake I’ve ever eaten. It was the Carmel one with the shortbread(?) bits on top.

We popped in to see if they had any vegan cakes, and they had one option that day.... and it was Amazing!!! Really tasty, would love to see more choices of vegan cakes too!

Staff really nice. Granary bread was stale though and cheese was missed out of my husbands cheese salad sandwich 😬 real shame as had the bread been fresh mine would have been amazing (and I’m sure hubby would have said the same if his sandwich had contained any cheese) wouldnt go here again due to lack of quality for quite an expensive price.
