What a fabulous day.....happy kids = happy parents. Good music, good food, great service, lovely people.... making a great atmosphere in a fabulous spot right next to the river Soar.

We had an afternoon tea gathering of Family and friends, after having had a funeral yesterday afternoon. The amount food that we booked for, far out weighed what we were expecting, it was absolutly brilliant, it was very tasty, well thought out and good quality, nothing was too much trouble for the lady manager, and all of her staff were helpfull and couldnt do enough to help on such a difficult day. We had good feedback from our guests on the quality and quantity of food. We took a "Thank you card and some flowers in today to say thanks. Which was much appreciated by all at the Waterside pub.

We came today Monday and very much enjoyed it I had the steak & ale pie and my daughter had the Gammon both meals were lovely proper homestyle food and the pub is very inviting too will definitely be coming back I especially loved the waterside location. Highly recommend.

Staff very friendly meal was nice. Great for kids with 3 Bouncy castles. Bar staff have to be the best yet.

Service is always amazing every time we visit. Staff are brilliant and the landlady is so welcoming! One pint turns into 2 followed by tasty food! Keep up the great work! Service is always with a smile and nothing is ever too much.

Our band code44 played 5 till 6 day 1 of the 2 day festival.... what an amazing day... the whole set up from start to finish was fantastic.. staff were 1st class and the whole experience was fantastic. Hope we can play again next year...cheers from us all !!

Loved it here. Can't fault the service, the location or the food. We came for the music and football weekend. Bouncy castles and slides for the kids as well as minions and paw patrol characters. There was a few hundred people about and there was still room for more. Great time amazing atmosphere.

I have eaten here quite a few times now and food is always lovely staff friendly. Attended the fun day yesterday fun was had by all. Recommend �

Always a pleasure to eat and drink here. Landlady is lovely and always goes above and beyond. Even our dog is made to feel like royalty! Can't wait for the family fun day and the music festival!!!

We love it here come regular for Sunday lunch the only thing is they have changed the Yorkshire puddings they use to be lovely big ones but the last two visits they were not the same please can you go back to the homemade big ones as that's my favourite part of my Sunday lunch 😊

We came across this place while visiting a nearby tree nursery. We saw the river and headed towards it and found this Inn. Very friendly staff. We only wanted bowl soup each and they were happy with that even at Sunday lunchtime

Will certainly be returning and maybe kayaking on the river and eating at the Inn

Just celebrated Bruce's 70th birthday at the waterside inn it was excellent, the food, the service couldn't have been any better, there was 22people and all the food was served together and hot, well done to all the staff and a big thank you for making the party a success

Great bands, great atmosphere. The down side was they closed the outside bars at 10 meaning the queue for the inside bar was enormous and sold out of lots of stuff. Maybe more organised next year but would definitely go again

Very little wheelchair space. I was very disappointed with the disabled toilet, the hand wash was in a windowsill very high up, red cord had been pulled out & left on the toilet. Food is lovely though & staff very friendly.

Nice location on the river and great for a pint outside in the summer. The seating 'dog friendly' area inside is a good idea. But, over £9 for a pint and a half of beer and a couple of packets of crisps is a bit steep. The bar is tiny and had used glasses and finished plates of half eaten food on it, which was really off putting. The staff seemed oblivious to this.

Terrible! Went last nite.....didnt get to eat! After waiting 1hour 15 for food......then to be told they hadn't processed order. Staff has bad attitude and several others complaining around us. Real disappointment!
