Join us this bank holiday Monday at The Western, we have our musical host, Homeless Shakespeare with an array of live music in the garden (weather permitting) the garden bar will be open serving Billy Bitter and San Miguel on tap. BBQ serving burgers and hotdogs from 2 until 8. Come and enjoy the end of your extended weekend with us.

The Western Pub!!! Always a pleasure to play/drink/ eat there!!! I've always said that the combination of real People, real Ale, real Music, and real Food are a guarantee of a good time!!! Also I love to see a lot of very different people sharing real Life together!!! Out of 10, it's definitely 11. :) :)

Really enjoyed myself. They had bands on all great and as always lovely staff.

Fantastic hub of the West End! Great homely atmosphere with a fire on the go at most times, you can’t go wrong whiling away a few hours here after a hard day’s graft.

A true old fashioned local pub with a great range of ales, beers, and many more alcoholic drinks. Plus a bonus of BBQ burgers on match days

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is,I couldn't have a cup of coffee �

Real ales, not pretentious, good atmosphere especially on match days.

I miss the pizza �. Great local with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s a real shame about the beer garden having the student flats built behind it. No more sunshiiiiine!
