What a lovely site. Then staff are all really friendly. Everywhere is spotless. The grounds are kept beautifully. Both swimming pools are well kept and you can see the staff making sure it is kept clean and tidy. Stayed for a long weekend, which was no where near long enough. Will definitely be back for a longer holiday.

We've stayed at Wild Duck on a few occasions and have thoroughly enjoyed it every time. We just had a weekend break there and this was our second stay as parents. It is perfect for young families, our two children had the best time in the live lounge with the Funstars and the seaside squad. My daughter loves Anxious and we all love Kyrstie; she remembered us from our stay last year and was so great with our children. We really appreciate the effort the staff make to make it special for the children. Would highly recommend staying here and we've booked to come back next year. The Caravans we've stayed in have always been clean and tidy and well stocked too.

User

We had a lovely time on our holiday, lots to do, staff really friendly and helpful. Had a lovely caravan.

This year is the 4th time we have returned to the Wild Duck. We love it. It is a friendly warm place and the staff are all wonderful. Unfortunately we had to leave quite quickly this year as our daughter was unwell. I left behind some clothing in the caravan. The wonderful staff found them and had them sent to me. They arrived this morning. Thanks so much to everyone involved and we hold to return again soon.

User

This is an amazing park for the whole family, including dogs of all sizes. The staff are so friendly and they always go above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay the best we have had. So much so we have booked again for next year! This will be our 3rd year with haven and I can’t not wait to experience the other parks as well.

User

The kids love coming here in the Easter holidays, there is so much for them to do and the site is lovely and clean. Our first time in a pet friendly this year and we were pleasantly surprised. All the staff are friendly and accommodating.

Super clean and comfortable caravan. Very friendly staff and great activities. Only downside was finding out what was gluten free and didn't think much of the on site chippy. A bit of litter about the pond/lake that we didn't think was good for the ducks. Definitely coming again, hopefully next year. Would definitely recommend booking your activities beforehand

User

Myself and my two children (ages 8 and 2) just come back home from the most amazing weekend at the wild duck, its five minutes from where we live but felt as though we were a million miles away, the weather was lush, the place itself looks amazing, and we were busy doing something the entire time we were there, theres so much to do so we were never once bored! All the staff we saw and spoke to were super friendly and helpful also! It was brilliant and we will definitely be returning again soon! Thank you Wild Duck!

User

Love that it's reasonably small compared to hopton/caister stayed in deluxe 3 bed caravan, was spotless and spacious, didn't eat on site, but evening entertainment my 4 year old loved. Went to Butlins last year and hated it to big and dated, wild duck is fantastic, staff are brilliant and felt safe with my little one playing, by far best haven I have been to and English little weekend away. highly recommend

Had a fantastic few days at wild duck park with hubby and our dog , from the moment we went on site the staff was extremely helpful and friendly nothing was to much trouble , the toilets and shower blocks was spotless ,everywhere was well lit up which was very much appreciated when you had to venture to the little girls room in the middle of the night . The park it’s self was spotless considering there was lots of dogs there was no dog mess anywhere , tourers was situated in excellent location near the facilities which in most campsites tourers are right at the back of the complex wild ducks make you feel like one big happy family Thankyou wild ducks for the fantastic days we had with you I will and already have recommended your to my friends who also have tents and touring caravans .

User

We visited my sister and her children who are staying at Wild duck, we used the outdoor swimming pool as the weather was so good and the sun was so hot ! Lovely restaurant, the food was abit of a let down but still everything else was lovely

User

We stayed at Wild Duck for 7 nights, and we had a lovely time. Our caravan was spotless and comfortable with all the mod cons, and most of the amenities in the park were great. There were a few things we thought could do with improving. One being the mini golf, which was very tired, a few of the holes unplayable due to being rotten and broken, and the "green" covered in leaves and twigs. As we hired our caravan through a private owner we had to buy our own passes, which we found extremely expensive for what they actually entitled us to, which was only the evening entertainment, £62 for 4 passes seemed very steep considering we only ever needed them twice! The only other thing that we found expensive was hiring the go-karts, which needed a £10 deposit for each kart, so for myself and my husband plus our 11 year old and 4 year old to share would have cost £42 for half an hour.. maybe I'm just being stingy but I thought that was a lot of money! Those few points aside we had a wonderful stay and will be returning in the future!

User

We have just returned back from a weekend there with our family of which are 2&4 years old.

We all had a great time, the only small problem was the wait we had for equipment for the crazy golf,go karts etc. This was due to one person doing everything

User

Loved it here, had a great weekend, the diamond plus caravans are really nice.

Organisation of the swimming pool is a bit of a nightmare though

User

Just had a long w/end camping with friends and family, had a great time and found all the staff were friendly and helpful.

Enquired about staying on for 4 more nights and was offered a great deal we could not refuse. 👍🏼👍🏼

As Arnie says " we'll be back ".

User

Its a great site however paying for every activity is a bit steep eg £8 for half hour on a family kart! The outside pool is ok but could do with a slide or some free pool activities like volley ball or aquafit! The entertainment is average really and what u expect for a haven site. So its a nice place but be prepared to spend a lot of money entertaining your kids! The bar drinks are very expensive 2 small glasses of wine £6 the cash bingo £10 for 6 and only 4 games playing for one line only! Until the last page where u play for full house. The caravan we were in was immaculate tho but it was a private hire not through haven. Will go again but need to save a lot of spending money.

User

Always a great holiday, lovely setting amongst the trees rather than the usual location next to the coast. Loads of rabbits and squirrels around all the time and we even woke up on our last day to a deer walking around the caravan! Only a 10 minute drive to Lowestoft, Yarmouth, and Gorleston beaches as well so you get the best of both worlds. Provided you can go just off season it’s also very reasonably priced, but as usual the cost can triple Un the space of a week due to Bank holidays/school holidays.

User

Wild Duck is a lovely place we went there touring really enjoyed our stay, the only problem was the touring shower and toilet block has no heaters 😤 so was very cold when you got out the shower. So wish they put in heaters and then it would have made a 5 star place. Other than this entertainment was great and area lovely 😊

User

We’ve been going to the wild duck for years, we’ve just got back from a long wkend we had a great time but,,, this time we had some annoying niggels” the bar coke machine didn’t work so they were charging you for a bottle every time you wanted a spirit,(joke) it’s their fault’ in the men’s toilets in the club house had one cubical out of order so I had to hold my son over a urinal which had all wee all over the floor near it,(the club is full of young children where are they meant to go to the toilet?, in the sitting duck we wanted a beer in the afternoon then we had to wait in the middle of bar behind about ten people ordering food” surely have a queue for food” and tried the chip shop when leaving the club not to late didn’t have anything ready’ didn't they realise they had a totally heaving holiday park to cater for’

Overall I think these silly little problems need to be sorted for the money these places like to charge families to stay there, such a shame just greedy

User

Lovely place evening entertainment could do with a revamp

User

I did a lot of research before coming here. We visited this area often many years ago as children and wanted to bring our own children here. The reviews for this site were fab, we arrived yesterday and I can now only assume that the reviews are written by staff or holiday home owners.

Before arriving we asked to book our 2 children into one activity but we're told that this can only be done by purchasing an activity pass for £50 . I didn't want to do this so was assured I could book activity on arrival as they didn't get booked up. Yep you guessed it, on arrival , no spaces resulting in 2 disappointed children. As much as I understand the company policy some of us dont have a spare £50 for activity passes so therefore our children miss out.

The caravan itself is new and tastefully decorated. 3 beds, 2 bathrooms and well equipped. So one positive!

The shop is small and not overly well equipped unless you want overpriced sweets or crisps for dinner. If you want to stock up there are supermarkets nearby.

This morning we decided to attempt a swim. The indoor pool was full by 10.30. a one in one out system was in place. The outside pool, well where do I start, ittoo was busy (as expected and not a problem) but it was also filthy. The pool was full of bugs and murky water. The surrounding seating area was covered in rubbish including good wrappers, used plasters and bandages. We got here as it opened so this is not due to today's use but must have been left from yesterday. Apparently the indoor pool has a capacity of 70 & the outdoor 80 and there is 5000 people on site. They don't have the facilities for that amount of people.

Finally the sitting duck restaurant last night did not have any fans or air con. It was boiling. When I asked if air con was broken I was told it was switched off as the doors were open. It was 35 degrees yesterday and the open doors did nothing!!

So the long and the short of it is, never again!! If it wasn't for the fact it's a 4 hour journey to get here I would have gone home.

User

Loved our short break with you. The caravan was spotless so was the park, lovely pool area my kids loved it, lots of activities to book onto and not over priced, well stocked little convenience store again not over priced & the arcade & pool staff are great, really friendly & helpful when it came to the children. We will be back I’m sure. Thank you x

User

Love spending time here! staff are great and very helpful, highly recommended!

User

User

User

User

First time we've been to Wild Duck where we've been since Monday, leaving Monday. We have a tourer and the touring area is set amongst the trees. Lovely pool which is being updated over the winter. We only actually came here because of the price and will come back again.

User

What a lovely site. Then staff are all really friendly. Everywhere is spotless. The grounds are kept beautifully. Both swimming pools are well kept and you can see the staff making sure it is kept clean and tidy. Stayed for a long weekend, which was no where near long enough. Will definitely be back for a longer holiday.

User

What a great place ! Staff ate AMZING! You should be so pleased your actors are AMZING my child loved it and so did the famly thank you so much for a great time see you all again next year !!

User

User

We are very fortunate to own our van here at the Wild Duck Holiday park....we love it...it's like home from home for us. . Fab location...Fab park...Fab staff...we just love the place

User

User

The facilities are excellent, reported broken item in the caravan and it was fixed within the hour. The activities team are all friendly and enthusiastic, Ranger Mike is amazing and the funstars are fabulous, going above and beyond to make each little ones holiday magical. We can't thank you all enough. Special thanks to Kyrstie for all you did this week xx

User

The best holiday park in Norfolk. Everything you could want

User

Thanks for a fantastic week the entertainment was outstanding brilliant magic show to end the night on and so much around with a 10 minute drive to an fantastic town centre or an amusment pear not to far from a sea life :) the staff are also great there extremely polite and do there absolute best to provide an fun holiday

User

Super clean and comfortable caravan. Very friendly staff and great activities. Only downside was finding out what was gluten free and didn't think much of the on site chippy. A bit of litter about the pond/lake that we didn't think was good for the ducks. Definitely coming again, hopefully next year. Would definitely recommend booking your activities beforehand

User

One word......Superb.

It's very well laid out, nice little nature trails to have a meander through.Although I didn't get to experience the site entertainment in the lounge,

I would definitely come here again. The staff very friendly, accommodating. Our holiday home in an ideal location amongst the trees was very clean so a 5star to the cleaner,in fact 5 stars all round.Well done!!!.

Anyone reading my waffle,Go to Wild Duck!!!.
