We just wanted to get in early and wish you all a very Happy New Year for 2019. We hope it brings you everything you could wish for! As for ourselves, 2018 has been something of a roller-coaster year. It started wonderfully having finished writing "The Ghost Light" in January and kicking off the live shows with the quite awesome Planet Rock presents: Winter's End Festival. We have toured with both Chasing Dragons and SKAM and made wonderful & long-lasting friends as a result.... These guys and gals are the greatest! We've played to big crowds - and we have played to small crowds, and we have played with countless other wonderful bands. A HUGE thank you also to those that do the sound & lighting, and to the incredible photographers and reviewers - you are awesome! We have covered approximately 7646 miles playing 48 times, many of them courtsey of the fantastically hard-working Shaun at KOL promotions. At EVERY venue we met lovely people in the crowd. You quite simply are the air we breathe in doing this crazy little thing called music. Financially it has been something of a disastrous year - again - with the cost of recording, touring, merchandise etc., outstripping income by over £2,000. Nothing compared to Gin Annie UK and Tomorrow Is Lost with their European tour losses for example, but not easy to sustain for long when each of us have had periods without a job or just minimum wage. Like 99% of musicians we certainly don't do this for the money!!! So you will see less of us next year, but we aim to make each show bigger and better if we can. We know only too well that many of you have been struggling this year - some with money and some with health - but we want you to know that every time you make it to see us is HUGELY appreciated. Every clap, every cheer. The pledge campaign you supported has kept us afloat along with every CD, t-shirt sale etc. We have no right to expect you to give us any of your hard-earned money so we want you to know that we REALLY DO appreciate it. Thank you so much, and once again HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
