What can we say! Jess Phil and Holly are outstanding! The attention to detail, support and service from the day we booked 18 months ago right up until now has been faultless. Everyone of our guests commented on the venue and its beautiful surroundings. We can't thank Jess and her team enough for giving us the best day of our lives and giving us free rein of the venue allowing us the freedom of enjoying the cottages and hall whilst having jess at the end of the phone to answer any questions and being involved with key points during our stay. This is definatly a venue for future family events and romantic nights away. I couldn't reccomend Thief Hall enough. A fantastic unique venue that made our wedding day perfect.

What a fantastically perfect location for a family and friends get together, and not just for a wedding �. Set in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside with stunning scenery and plenty of private space to enjoy yourselves. The cottages available for hire are 5*plus and are spacious, clean, with everything you need. The teams attention to detail is outstanding. The wedding itself including the ceremony, disco, bar, room decor, flowers, cake, staff, catering and reception couldn't have been any more perfect and well choreographed by the Theif Hall Team! The icing on the cake was David being lucky enough to win it!

Went to a party yesterday evening at Thief Hall and it was great..lovely set up with plenty of room for 90 guests..the fairy lights looked fab and it was really warm in the hall despite the freezing temperatures outside xx

We had the best day, the best weekend with all our friends and family. So intimate and kept personal for that extra touch. All our guests adored the place and many will return sometime in the future I'm sure! We are so happy and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Thank you Jessica, a truly amazing place � Xx

We had our wedding here in August 2016. It was absolutely fantastic. Stunning venue with superb views for photos. Jessica and Philip were really helpful with all the usual (and unusual) requests...e.g. hiding a steam roller! All of or guests were really impressed with the beautiful cottages and really felt they were in the height of luxury throughout the whole weekend. As we had the place from the Friday, we were able to do a hog roast in the cottage courtyard for a rehearsal dinner the night before. Jessica came in the evening to check up on everything and to tidy our cottage which was a lovely surprise to return to! The hall has its own sound system which operates via blue tooth so dead easy to connect to your own playlists. They also have microphones for speeches. We had the hall until Sunday afternoon so there was plenty of time to pack up after a late night! I can't recommend this venue enough, it gave us wonderful memories to last a lifetime. Thanks Jessica and Philip :-)

We had our wedding at Thief Hall and it was perfect right down to the last detail. The entire team at Thief Hall are amazing! Thank you so much for an unforgettable weekend!!!

These guys are amazing. We just had our wedding at thief hall and everything was perfect. All of our guests complimented the venue so much and some are even looking at booking it for themselves. The details from the planning process, the welcome packs in every cottage, the chilled prosecco in the fridge, the hot tub to Holly's incredible skills of helping the day run so smoothly. The venue is a blank canvas with no extra annoying charges such as corkage and you can put your own stamp on it however you like. And you even get it for the whole weekend. Jess, Phillip and holly are all so relaxed but so helpful when needed. We can't thank you all enough and we wish we could do the weekend all over again. We will definately be returning for a lovely holiday. :) Xxx

We attended a wedding anniversary party and the room set up was perfect.

Last night we stayed at Theif Hole cottages in the lovely barn with our children and friends, the cottage was beautiful and had everything you need from a jet bath to a picnic bag! the views are also spectacular, it's very calm and relaxing there. we're already planning our next break here in summer! Thank you xxx

Just had a 30th birthday party here and we all thoroughly enjoyed the facility. Yoga class is very good on a Tuesday and Thursday too!!!

I don't know where to start!! The most perfect venue for our wedding! A total blank canvas to work with and so much scope to make your wedding personal! Jessica was a fantastic help from booking last year to the actual day. So helpful and nothing was too much. I would recommend Thief Hole to anyone wanting a laid back venue for their wedding. Huge area outside for the kids to run around in, large room for your meal (we sat 110 very comfortably) and to be able to just walk to one of the cottages after the night do was so nice!

Had an amazing time at a friends wedding. The cottages are amazing. So much care and detail gone into making them perfect.

Fantastic wedding venue the cottages enabled us to spend a whole weekend all together making it really special

Amazing venue!! We got married here a couple of weeks ago and can not fault it. Loved that we had the full venue for the entire weekend so could spend time with our family’s that we don’t get to see as often as we would like. Cottages were immaculate, all guests (weekend and wedding) had nothing but glowing praise for the venue. Staff were also brilliant right the way through from booking to helping out on the day. Would 100% recommend this place for anyone looking for a blank canvas that they want to make their own.
