Wonderful place, great ale....good to see communities reopening failed pubs. Always a nice crowd in. Music too and a nice beer garden for the odd sunset!

I went to the reopening and had a great time, April has done such a great job! It was really good to see some of the old faces, and what fantastic beer! Pale Rider, 5.2%...mmmmm!

Great to see the place full again with old and new faces. Some great ales and ciders especially as Abbeydale Moonshine and Kelham Island Pale Rider are on. You only need Bradfield Farmers Blond for the Sheffield hat-trick. The Thorn Tree........welcome back to life my old friend.

Good selection of regular changing local real ales, wide selection of ciders, and gins, top lounge with log burner and sofa, outside decking with views over the chevin, live music on Sundays, and friendly staff, a reopened local pup with good atmosphere, quiz nights, and now joined weds darts and doms league, a must visit

Excellent choice of well kept real ales. Very welcoming atmosphere, family and dog friendly, live music most Sundays between 4 - 7pm plus bar snacks available too. Good to see a closed pub reopen with so much to offer! Well worth a visit.

Everything You want from a local is available in abundance at the Thorn Tree, great choice of real Ales and ciders, bar snacks, traditional pub games, Skittles, darts and dominoes, weekly meat/beer raffles, live music on Sunday’s, monthly quiz night, a lovely little garden with fantastic views over Belper on summer days and a welcoming real fire for those cold winter nights. An absolute gem of of a pub where Your always made to feel welcome.
